How to locate an iPhone without being noticed
Before proceeding with the services and apps dedicated to the location of the iPhone, we will have to prepare the Apple smartphone in order to correctly use the GPS and the integrated systems to obtain the exact position.
We then turn on the iPhone to be spied on, click on Settings -> Localization and activate the Localization item.
Once this item is activated, click on Share my location, then enable the Share my location item .
Now the iPhone geo-location services are up and running, even within the apps that will request it (not only with the integrated service offered by Apple).
The only precaution before proceeding: the symbol indicating the location of the device is clearly visible at the top right of the top bar of the iPhone, indicating to the owner that a location service is in use on the device.

1) Find my iPhone
The service offered directly by Apple allows you to track the iPhones associated with iCloud profiles in a simple and immediate way.

We insert the access credentials to display the last position of the iPhone, with the possibility of tracking its movements in real time.
If we don't get any results, maybe you need to set something: open the iPhone and go to Settings, then click on the name of our profile (it should be at the top) and then click on the iPhone entry of XXX, with the name with which we identified the phone.
Now select the Find My iPhone item and activate the Find My iPhone and Send Last Location items to be able to make the best use of the geo-location services offered by Apple.
2) Prey
Another service that we can use to locate an iPhone without being noticed is Prey, whose iPhone app can be downloaded from here -> Prey .
Once installed we immediately create an account for the service (Sign Up), then we will have to grant all the permissions to the app to be able to act as a locator (click on Allow on any request for special permissions on the iPhone).
Now that the app is installed, we can use the special "Camouflage" mode to hide it, so as to go unnoticed and prevent any type of uninstallation; select the device in the right panel, then activate the item Toggle camouflage to hide the app making it go for a harmless game.
To prevent it from being removed, simply open the iPhone Settings menu and open the General menu -> Restrictions .
We enable the Enable restrictions item and enter a random PIN for protection, then scroll through the various items until we find and disable the Delete app item.
As a last configuration we enable continuous real-time monitoring of the position; we open the app and enable the Set device to missing item and choose the update frequency (with the free account we can choose only 10 or 20 minutes, not minor frequencies).
