Voice reading of the screen on iPhone (with ebook, web pages etc.)

With the " Speak Screen " function of iOS you can make sure that the iPhone can read everything that is written on the screen, swiping it with two fingers from top to bottom.
In this way you can get the reading by word of anything, the pages of websites, ebooks and any other written text.
The screen reading function is designed for those with vision problems, but it is also useful for anyone if you want to turn an ebook into an audiobook or to let the iPhone read us articles while we are doing something else or, while sunbathing, while in the car or lying on the bed.
The screen reading feature of the iPhone only has a couple of flaws that are important to note.
First of all, if you are using it on a web page, this reads everything, even the titles, menus and advertisements (it would therefore be better to open the web pages with the Reader mode of Safari).
The other small flaw is that reading ebooks works very well with the Kindle application, less so with the others.
To enable the screen pronunciation function on iPhone, open Settings> General, go to Accessibility, tap on Voice and then on Pronunciation screen .
When the voice reading function is activated, three additional options appear to choose the type of voice, the speed of speech (which can also be adjusted while reading) and then the option to highlight the text read so that it can be followed on the screen (for those with vision problems).
Once the setting is activated, to use the screen reading from any screen of the iPhone just scroll down with two fingers making the playback controls appear.
The Pronunciation of the screen immediately begins to read the text displayed on the screen and you can pause, go forward, back and change the reading speed.
Touching the Minimize button (the left arrow) you can hide the control panel.
Voice reading continues even with the screen off and you can still scroll the page displayed up or down without interrupting the speech.
