Kaspersky Cleaner cleans Windows and makes it more secure

Kaspersky, the famous Russian company that develops and sells one of the most effective and used antivirus in the world, has released a new program, this time free of charge, which is used to automatically solve some Windows problems.
The program, called Kaspersky Cleaner, was designed to clean junk files and temporary Windows files, to improve data privacy and to change some settings that can make your computer more vulnerable to viruses.
Kaspersky Cleaner can be downloaded for free from the official website and has a really simplified interface, with a single large button to start scanning your computer and four additional icons under it that you can hover over to understand what it is .
The activities that are performed by Kaspersky Cleaner after pressing the Scan Now button are therefore:
- System cleanup that deletes temporary files and deleted files that are in the recycle bin.
- Restore system settings that affect operating system functionality.
- Configure privacy protection to prevent Windows from collecting personal data.
- Elimination of traces of activity by deleting cookies, histories and system logs.
Pressing on the 4 icons at the bottom of the home screen you can configure the various controls, activating or deactivating various options which, written in English, remain absolutely difficult to understand.
Trusting Kaspersky, if our computer seems not to be really fit, we can then press the Start Scan button to start the 4 tools.
After the quick scan, you can then click on the various buttons on the left and select which of the recommended actions to apply by marking or removing the cross.
The problems detected are divided into important, medium-serious and minor.
The red ones would be corrected immediately, while the others can also be ignored if you prefer not to abuse the instrument too much.
Again the descriptions of the problems are in English so if you don't know what you're doing, maybe it's better not to continue and not apply the changes.
If you are convinced, however, you can press the large button of the FIX that applies the changes.
At this point you will probably be asked to restart your computer.
If something goes wrong or if you want to go back, you can restart the Kaspersky Cleaner program and press the key for the Roll Back which restores the changes made by the previous fix.
Compared to the most famous and used program of this type, CCleaner, Kaspersky Cleaner is certainly more cryptic and less explanatory.
From a functional point of view, there is less personalization and less controls.
At the same time, Kaspersky's seems like an excellent and immediate tool to put your computer back from the security point of view, to make it safer and less vulnerable to viruses .
However, the recommendation remains strong that any operation you are going to do with this tool is also verified, in order not to risk unwanted changes or problems of any kind.
