Itunes lite and Real Player Alternative in lighter versions

From a report from our friend Dyonisus, we learned about the site that distributes the light versions of Itunes, Quicktime and Real Player .
The ITunes topic had already been addressed in another post which describes how to load songs on an Ipod without using Itunes which is very uncomfortable for me.
From the previous article then it will be understood that I am not an ITunes lover at all; I remember the last time I installed it, discovering how, in addition to the multimedia program, it also installed many other services and components that were absolutely not required and that took up space and memory on the PC.
As seen in another article, it is possible to install iTunes on PC without unnecessary components, at a minimum
The fundamental changes concern the absence of "Bonjour service" and the elimination of "IpodService" "TunesHelper" services and MobileMe support at Windows boot.
Without these useless services, Itunes will work very well with all its functions (there are those who like them ...)
On another page you can download QuickTime Alternative .
To run the light version of Itunes and the light version of Quicktime together, as required by version 8, you must also install an add-on as, for the moment, they have compatibility problems: the add on is called iTunes compatibility add -on.
Real Player is an excellent multimedia player very similar to Windows media player which includes proprietary filters and codecs to be always installed on the computer.
We have already talked about Real Player describing how to "Use Real player instead of iTunes".
Unfortunately, even if it is a program that has been treated well in this blog, Real is a very heavy software and full of annoying bugs.
The light version comes to support those who want to keep Real Player installed on the computer even if it is not absolutely essential.
Real Player Alternative has all the codecs for RealMedia formats and to watch streaming on the internet.
Real Alternative and Real light are the same with the only difference that Media Player Classic is also installed in the alternative version.
