Better features of the Samsung Galaxy S10

The Samsung Galaxy S10 is currently one of the best smartphones with Android operating system on the market.
On the hardware level it has few rivals, and also on the software level Samsung always presents itself a step ahead of the competition, so that it can compete on equal terms with the products launched by Apple (iPhone). Referring to various sites the various hardware cards and performance comparisons, in this guide we will see together the main and (some) unique functions of the Samsung Galaxy S10, those that distinguish it from other Android smartphones.
Those who have a Samsung Galaxy S10 can therefore discover these functions, perhaps not exploited so far (although many are part of the presentation or advertising launched by Samsung for the product) or of which nothing was known.

Ultrasonic fingerprint reader

The most advertised feature is undoubtedly the fingerprint reader integrated directly under the smartphone screen : simply place your finger on any point of the screen to start reading the fingerprint and access the device. Obviously verification and detection systems are available in the pocket to avoid accidental and unwanted activations. This feature is certainly one of the most advanced technological discoveries available at the moment: a small layer of screen can read fingerprints on the glass using ultrasound waves, with which it is possible to overcome the front protection. So goodbye fingerprint readers rear or positioned instead of the Home button: the future is all "under the screen".

Advanced camera

Galaxy S10 Samsung introduces many features for the camera, including an artificial intelligence shooting system with which to take photos and videos in any light condition or with a large number of subjects. We can take advantage of the ultra-wide-angle lens to obtain a 123-degree exposure, equivalent to that of the human eye, so that you can easily take shots of landscapes, panoramas and group photos.
For those who love to shoot videos, you can take advantage of the Super Steady mode, which, thanks to digital stabilization technology, allows you to capture photos at high speed without any problem.

Artificial intelligence system

As already mentioned for the camera, Samsung Galaxy S10 has artificial intelligence, obtainable thanks to a dedicated chip for neural calculation, that is Neural Processing Unit (NPU) : without going into too technical details, you just need to know that our smartphone is in able to monitor our activity and to take some decisions in complete autonomy in order to improve the final result, be it a photograph or automatically activate some tricks of energy saving on CPU and RAM, so as to increase autonomy without realizing it . Always to save as much battery as possible, the artificial intelligence monitors the apps left in the background, so as to be able to block or freeze those that remain in memory too long and with high energy consumption, without losing any notifications.
Thanks to artificial intelligence we will have a smartphone that always takes beautiful photos, that lasts longer and that automatically optimizes apps without having to go crazy among a thousand menus.

Wi-Fi support 6

The new Wi-Fi 6 standard is coming in the course of 2019 and will replace Wi-Fi 5 and Wi-Fi 4, i.e. the old IEEE 802.11ac and IEEE 802.11n, which so far were the most common standards for wireless connection of devices. This standard offers higher connection speeds (up to 11 Gb / s) and bandwidth intelligently divided among numerous devices, so that everyone can navigate in very crowded rooms or premises.
Until modems and routers are available with support for this new technology, we can still connect to existing wireless networks.

Wireless charging

Like all recent smartphones, it is possible to recharge the smartphone using wireless charging, which uses a special induction process between two electromagnetic coils to start the charging process without using the USB cable. The technology is mature enough to be able to fully charge the smartphone in reasonable times (thanks to Fast Wireless Charging 2.0, even if we are far from the times obtainable with the USB cable), especially if you use Samsung or Qi certified wireless charging stations.

Wireless PowerShare

Among the most publicized novelties of the Samsung Galaxy S10 we also find the Reverse Charging Wireless, also called Wireless PowerShare . This technology allows sharing the charge of the smartphone with another smartphone compatible with wireless charging; if a friend of ours is left with little charge on his Samsung Galaxy S10, we can bring the back of our devices closer and pass a part of the energy of our Samsung Galaxy S10 to the friend. The charge that we can pass is obviously minimal, not to mention that it will take some time to be carried out, but it also opens up to other scenarios: even if it is not currently implemented, we can charge two devices at a time with a single USB cable: a part of the charge will be stored on the smartphone connected by cable, while the other part of the charge will be shared with the Wireless PowerShare.

MST chip

One of the secret weapons on board the Samsung Galaxy S10 is the presence of the MST chip, which joins the now known NFC chip: it allows to increase the security of contactless payments, through a magnetic authentication system (hence the name Magnetic Secure Transmission ).
When we make a payment with Samsung Pay, we can obtain an additional degree of security by also using some magnetic information, in addition to the simple exchange of data between NFC chips: the phone will be "slightly" attracted to the payment POS and will validate the transaction securely and efficient.
Obviously we will have to use POS compatible with this type of authentication, but in the meantime we can still use NFC to make all types of classic contactless payments.

Conclusions

We have shown you in a few lines the unique features (or almost) of the Samsung Galaxy S10, many of which are futuristic (so "forward" that you will hardly use them in the next 2 years!). If you were undecided about the goodness of the Samsung Galaxy S10, these features should have dispelled any doubts. We want to buy the Samsung Galaxy S10 "immediately> Samsung Galaxy S10 (707 €).
In another article, we told you about the tricks and functions hidden in the Samsung Galaxy that can be extended without problems even for the Galaxy S10.
