Passwords saved in Chrome visible on every PC or other browser

The password management system of Google Chrome is deeply integrated with your Google account in a fairly advantageous way, which however requires to be known.
Practically, all passwords saved when in Chrome when the browser asks the user whether or not to store access to an account, they are also saved in their Google account in a special web page that becomes accessible from any other PC, smartphone, tablet and web browser.
Obviously, to open this page, you will need the password of your Google account and, if configured, also the double verification code for accessing Google sites (increasingly recommended).
Google's therefore becomes an effective password protection system that allows us to keep safe and recover every credential when needed, without having to remember every single password from memory and therefore without having to use easy passwords.
To store passwords in Chrome just open the settings from the menu that appears by pressing the button with three lines at the top right, then click at the bottom on show advanced settings and make sure that the " request to save passwords " option is activated.
With this option activated, every time you enter a password to access a site like Facebook or any other, Chrome will ask you to save it.
Over time, after saving several passwords, in case you need to recover one, just open the Chrome settings, to the advanced settings section, and click the Manage password link.
Chrome will show all the login names of the stored accounts and the passwords covered.
To show the readable passwords in Chrome, click on them, press on Show and then enter the password for the computer account.
In order for this save to be safe and effective, you should log in to Chrome with your Google account by pressing the Sign in button at the top right.
In the settings then, at the first item, you have to press on advanced synchronization settings and, in the next window, activate password synchronization and choose the option to encrypt the passwords saved with the credentials of the Google account .
Once password synchronization is activated, these credentials of the various accounts, in addition to being stored on the PC and synchronized to find them also on other devices in which Chrome is used with the same Google account, will be accessible and visible from any computer or mobile phone or even from other browsers such as Firefox and Safari simply by opening the web page at //passwords.google.com/ .
This special page is not new today, but it is still little known so much that it does not even appear in the search results by searching for " Password Chrome " or " Google Password ".
In this blog I had already written about how Google saves all site and application passwords.
On the password page you can also deactivate or activate automatic access to the various sites whose password has been memorized.
If you do not want the passwords to be saved on a web page of the Google site (obviously visible only by us), then you will only have to remove the option to encrypt passwords with Google credentials in the Chrome settings.
