Apple has announced a new iPhone for the second time this year, this time with two new models, the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C . These new models are identical to the iPhone 5 except for some new features such as the fingerprint sensor for mobile phone security. To justify the launch of a new product identical to the previous one, Apple has equipped the iPhone 5S with a much more powerful 64-bit processor . As for the iPhone 5S we have a 4-inch mobile phone like the iPhone 5, in Gold, Silver and Black color. Thin and light, the iPhone 5S includes, as already mentioned, a touch fingerprint sensor that allows users to unlock their device with the simple touch of the finger. This protection system will also be used to shop on iTunes.
Apple has updated all the integrated applications such as Mail, Calendar and iPod and, of course, the new iPhones will immediately have the updated operating system. The powerful new Apple A7 processor packs more than 1 billion transistors into a 102mm chip and, most importantly, runs 64-bit applications .
An improved camera could not be missing, which thanks to the new sensors offers 15% more surface and an f / 2.2 aperture.
The new 8 megapixel iSight camera is a very refined technology that allows you to take photos as you would with a price camera. There's also a dual LED flash and new camera app features to add filters and take 10 still images in a second with automatic image stabilization. The Panorama function, then, allows you to take photos at 30 frames per second, 50% faster than the iPhone 5. With an iPhone 5S you can also record videos in 1080p HD quality and use the slow-motion function at 120 frames per second in 720p.
This means that you can shoot at regular speed and slow down the scene in the highlights, like in slow motion.
iPhone 5S also improves support for LTE, the super fast internet connection.
Availability
The iPhone 5S replaces the iPhone 5 which is then withdrawn from the market while stocks last and will not be sold at a lower price.
For now, the iPhone 5S will not be on sale in Italy where it will be released in three months, for Christmas.
The prices are obviously very high and, taking if in France and Germany the iPhone 5S 16GB costs 699Euro, the 32GB 799 and 899 Euro for 64GB, you have to bet that in Italy the prices will be 729, 839, 949 Euro .
The iPhone 5C instead would be the "low cost" iPhone for young people, at least in the USA. In Europe it is not low cost, I miss it at all because the price of the iPhone 5C will be 599 Euros and 699 Euros which in Italy will therefore rise to 629 Euros for the 16 Gb version and 739 Euros for the version with 32GB memory. The iPhone 5C is aesthetically similar to the Nokia Lumia, and comes in five colors: blue, green, yellow, pink and white . The iPhone 5C is the same size as the iPhone 5 and 5S, but is built with soft silicone rubber and not aluminum. For the rest, as technical specifications the 5C is almost the same as the iPhone 5 with retina display and A6 processor, iOS7 operating system, an iSight 8 Megapixel Camera, FaceTime HD camera, LTE support. In practice, the iPhone 5C is the colorful and rubber iPhone 5.
