It's been a long time since I reported a new PC game, because in fact almost nothing new comes out. The big video game houses prefer to sell console games or make titles for smartphones and tablets and few dedicate themselves to developing PC games that are free for everyone.
Luckily there are independent developers, so good at creating all new games from scratch or, more often, starting from old successful video games, modifying them and making them more exciting than before.
The game that received the most mods (i.e. modified versions), the Half Life that has somewhat revolutionized the first person shooter genre of the time and which can still be considered among the best FPS for PC ever.
Half Life can now be played freely and for free thanks to the final release of Sven Co-op, the most popular and most popular mod of Half Life, which has now become a game in itself.
Sven Co-op can be installed for free on Windows PC, alone (without having to install Half Life first), without limitations, with all the free and available game maps.
To play Sven Co-op just open the Steam site page, download the game (you need to register with Steam first) and start it from the Steam program.
The main change that Sven Co-op has brought to Half-Life is the group game to play with other people online and try to beat the enemies always guided by the computer AI.
There are also many more enemies than the original Half Life, smarter, with additional weapons and new monsters.
Then there is a third-person view mode, with the shot from behind and not from the front, a new graphics engine and better designs.
Apart from this, it is always the old and timeless Half-Life, in the single player mode, in the story made in missions and also in the graphics.
If some may not be very happy with the graphic quality that today may appear dated, for others like me it is instead excellent news that the Sven Co-Op game can run on almost every computer even very old (even with Windows XP), without requiring more than 2 GB of RAM or a latest generation video card.
Those who had already played Half Life, those who love shooters with no holds barred and those who wanted some new game, beautiful, free and not demanding from the point of view of the time to dedicate to them, can really have fun by downloading Sven Co-op.
