Manage and sync Safari bookmarks on iPhone, Mac and Chrome

Adding bookmarks to an iPhone, using Safari, is definitely an easy thing to do, but not immediately apparent.
What many iPhone users don't know is that you can use Safari to add favorites and see them appear automatically in a synchronized way (that is, the change from one part is also reflected on the other) on a Mac or any other Apple device such as the 'iPad.
Not only that, thanks to a little trick you can make sure that the favorites used with Safari on iPhone and iPad are also synchronized on the Chrome browser of an Android tablet or smartphone or a Windows PC, thus connecting all the devices owned and browsing from one or the other as if it were one.
To add a favorite from Safari on iPhone and iPad you must first open the site to be saved and then touch the Share icon which is the one at the bottom with the arrow pointing up.
Once pressed, a box of options opens and you can then add the site to the collection of bookmarks or favorites that you like.
From this menu you can also add the site to the reading list or you can make sure that that site can be started directly from the Home screen.
To manage Safari bookmarks on iPhone or iPad, you have to tap the bookmark icon on the bottom row, what looks like a book that opens.
On the bookmarks screen, touch the Edit button in the lower right corner and move the various sites added to the folders with your finger by touching the button with three lines next to each of them.
The red button on the left instead is used to remove them, so be careful that if you delete a folder, all the sites will be removed.
Instead, by touching the button of the New folder "you can create a new folder in which to move the current favorites or add new ones.
To edit a bookmark, simply touch it in edit mode and then change its name, folder or even internet address if this is wrong.
In edit mode there are three gray bars that appear along the right edge of each bookmark or bookmark folder. These allow you to move stuff around, so if you want to reorder everything, just place your finger on these bars and drag it to the chosen location.
We now come to the best part of the management of Safari's favorites, namely the fact that they are synchronized online on their iCloud account .
So if you access Safari from Mac and if you use the same iCloud account on the Mac on the Mac, you will see on the Mac the same favorites that you have on the iPhone and every addition or modification will be applied on all devices.
This also applies to the iPad .
The only thing to do then is to activate and use iCloud on iPhone and iPad as explained in the guide, and then also on Mac.
On Mac to activate iCloud just go to system preferences, find iCloud and then make sure Safari is selected for data synchronization.
As for a Windows PC, we know that Safari no longer exists and although it can still be downloaded, it has not been updated for a long time and is worth nothing.
Not being able to use Safari to synchronize bookmarks, you can still use iCloud on Windows by downloading it as a program and use it to synchronize the favorites added by the iPhone in Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome .
The choice of browsers can be done from the program settings.
If you don't want to use the iCloud program, it can also be enough to install an extension to sync your Safari bookmarks from iPhone to Chrome on PC or Firefox .
The iCloud Favorites extension is developed by Apple itself for both Chrome and Firefox.
In this way all the favorite sites will remain perfectly synchronized on each device and since Chrome synchronizes the favorites between PC and Android (using the same Google account), we completed the tour and made sure that any device is used to surf the internet, the favorites are always present and identical.
