Make the resume the right way by writing your CV without using Word

You don't need Microsoft Office to write a professional resume in the right way and you can also create your CV using web applications like Google Docs, which is completely free and offers a variety of resume templates to choose from.
Thanks to the automation of the applications, you will no longer have to suffer with the formatting of a Word document and you can make changes and additions whenever you want, from your PC or even from your tablet and smartphone.
In this article we see how easy it is to make a CV without using Office programs like Word, but using Google Docs or other applications in Italian that make Curriculum Vitae writing simple, fast and professional.

1) Google Docs is the main competitor of Microsoft Office, works only online, makes it better if opened with the Google Chrome browser, is included in Google Drive and is also available on iPhone, iPad, tablet and Android smartphone.
The good thing about Google Docs is that it offers so many templates just to fill in and customize, greatly facilitating the work of writing a new document.
To find the Curriculum templates you can go to the templates web page (you must first be logged in with a Google or Gmail account on Google Drive).
To find the resume models you can search for the English word " Resume " and then choose the one you like best.
Even if they are written in English, they can be completely modified and, therefore, translated into Italian.
Some templates are related to the Cover letter or the presentation letter, possibly, to be attached to the curriculum.
To better see a template, you can press the Preview button.
To use a model instead press the Use this model button.
Google Docs automatically creates a new document within Google Drive using the chosen template and opens it to edit and write it.
You don't have to worry about saving it, Google Docs automatically saves the document when writing.
Once finished, you can print the curriculum by opening it from Google Drive and going to the File -> Print menu (Do not use the browser's print option otherwise the entire web page is printed and not the document).
The file can also be downloaded to your PC in PDF format or in Microsoft Word Docx or RTF format.
To choose how to download it go to the menu File -> Download as .
Just be careful because Google Docs could have some problems when converting your CV to a Word document so it would be better to use the PDF format that reads exactly the same way on every computer and there can be no risk of wrong formatting.
2) To make a curriculum even faster you can use the CVMaker online app which is also in Italian.
In this case, the curriculum is self-generated by filling in online forms relating to personal information, work experience, instructions, qualifications, references and interests.
The CV will have an elegant graphic aspect corresponding to the European format recognized by all Italian and foreign companies.
3) Online CV Generator is a very similar site, but even faster, where you just have to fill in a form, without registration and registration, and the CDV is automatically returned in PDF format to be downloaded to your PC.
