Let friends connect in Wifi without giving them the password

When a friend comes to our house, he is likely to ask for the Wifi connection password to surf the internet from his smartphone, check his mail or chat on Whatsapp.
Since in some cases the password to access the protected network is long and confusing, it takes time to make it understood and find it if you don't remember it by heart.
Instead, using a simple QR code it is possible to share the connection data, SSID and Password with anyone so that the friend can use the mobile phone to scan the code and connect directly, without giving him the password.
Just stick the QR Code on your router and make it really easy for anyone to connect to the internet via the Wifi network without the need for a password.
This mode of sharing wifi connection data is also very convenient for managers of bars, restaurants or shops that provide Wifi to customers who just need to put the QR code on a sign or a wall sticker to give everyone the opportunity to connect even without knowing the password.
To create a QR code that incorporates the access data of a Wifi network, QRStuff can be used, an online generator that prints the code on the screen and allows it to be printed on a sheet.
As already seen in the article on how to create and read QR Codes from PC and mobile phones, there are at least two sites to have the QR Code of a Wifi network: QrStuff or ZXing .
On one of the two, select the type of code for the Wifi Network or Wifi Login and enter the network name, password and authentication type in the fields.
After generating the code drawing, save it as an image or print it on a sheet.
Then take your Android phone and check when it is easy to connect to the network only by scanning the QR code (using an app like BarCode Scanner).
To share the data of the wifi connection there is also the QR Code Wifi site, free of charge that generates the code to be scanned to connect to the network from an Android smartphone.
Those who have an iPhone or iPad will not be able to automatically connect to the network as an Android smartphone can, but using an application to read QR codes such as QR Reader will still get the connection data and can copy and paste the password.
I think there is no faster way to share Wifi connection data than this.
Alternatively, you can also activate an access with WPS button to Wifi, convenient and easy to use, which keeps the password confidential in case there are guests at home.
