Highlight text on iPad and iPhone of PDFs, books and web pages

You cannot use pens and markers on an iPad screen to highlight text on a sheet, but there are some applications that allow you to highlight it as if you were using a normal yellow highlighter.
The iPad is a perfect tablet device for reading ebooks, PDFs and other documents.
It makes perfect sense therefore to use a highlighter with your finger and to write down some text by writing on the sheets as you would with a pencil on a paper book.
1) The best app for highlighting text on iPhone and iPad is free PDF Viewer Pror, the simplest and most functional of all those available.
PDF files can be imported into the highlighter via iTunes or, preferably, Dropbox.
To highlight text just touch, hold, drag your finger and release.
The text can then be colored differently, underlined or make a deleted line.
At the top of the app, in an open document, you can touch the pencil icon to make marks on the sheet as you would with the pencil or create a text note or a voice memo.
The revision icon on the left side allows you to see all the annotations and highlights made for easy reading.
Annotations can also be emailed as plain text or as an attachment.
2) To have a highlighter of web pages on iPhone and iPad instead you can use the free tool of Diigo.
Liner is a normal iPad browser, which includes a unique highlight feature in the iOS app landscape.
3) Other apps for highlighting text in ebook books are Amazon Kindle and Apple iBooks.
The popular Evernote clipboard application in its latest version also includes a highlighter located in the toolbar of its integrated keyboard.
