"Old photo" effect to images (sepia, black and white, faded)

On this occasion we see how to apply the "old" or "vintage" effect to a photograph, without disturbing programs such as Photoshop or GIMP and without making any effort.
Giving the photographs an "old" effect is not only applying the Sepia or black and white filter but also making sure that the image appears to have been taken several years ago, as if it were an old postcard.
These classic tones that make the older photos look like, are beautiful to look at because they are elegant and with an aura of romance.
There are 5 web applications that allow you to apply the vintage effect to photographs, for free and with an immediate, fast and automatic process .
It cannot be said which of them is better because all three give different results that can be preferred or not according to one's taste.
For the test, I chose the photo that everyone has on the Windows computer among the sample images, that of the Gran Canion .
1) Wanokoto is a Japanese website which, fortunately, is very easy and immediate to use.
Just press the " Choose " button in the center of the page, upload the photo, press the blue button underneath the Choose and wait for the result to be displayed.
The photo will be in black and white, with a bit of faded marks and lines that simulate an old image.
To see the large image, click with the right mouse button, open the image in another browser tab and then always save it with the right button.
2) vintageJS is a more modern online tool, with a very fluid and fast HTML5 web application.
Also this site aims to age photographs with sepia tones, blurred edges and vintage effects (see the photo above as an example).
VintageJS does everything automatically but leaves more room for imagination and customization.
In fact, after uploading the photo, levers appear that can be moved at will to change the light and color of the photo.
You can line the center, darken the edges, increase the color, fade the photo, blur it a bit and add old ink specks .
In the end the result is more varied and you can really make a vintage look.
3) Old Photo Effect is the third site to age a photograph.
Also on this application, you must press the Choose File button, upload the image to the site from your computer and then press the Upload button below.
After loading, the result will be immediately displayed and can be seen in large size and saved as a new image.
In Your Old Pic the aging effect is a little more artifact, with a sepia filter and a brownish color, with a frame on the sides that seems half torn and ruined.
4) SimpleRetro is an ingenious online web app that adds some amazing effects to photos and allows you to share them with friends on Facebook or Twitter.
SimpleRetro has an additional function called 'snap' which allows you to take a photo with the webcam and immediately add the retro effects.
The site requires registration but is completely free (you can also use the Facebook or Twitter account).
Once the file has been uploaded from the PC or after taking a photo from the webcam, you can see a series of sepia, black and white and other effects and filters in the right panel, to be applied to the image to age it.
5) Yogile is a photo effects site that also contains the one to age the image making it look like an old photo.
Finally, I remember the apps to see yourself older and older in photos that always makes a scene and that, if you have not tried it before, I really recommend going to look.
In another post, the best online photo editing web applications that do things automatically and on the fly, without requiring any manual work.
