EEEPC Asus: Increase processor power, Overclocking with Windows

The mini laptop from Asus, the now famous EEEPC, has an Intel Celeron 900 Mhz processor which, however, by factory settings, runs at 630 Mhz, therefore, as they say in computer jargon, it is "Downclocked".
To increase processor speed and power in general, read this article.
For the ASUS EEEPC with Windows instead, it is possible to bring the processor to its potential speed and exceed it up to 1030 Mhz through the eeectl 0.2.4 program updated on 23 June.
After downloading and extracting it in a folder of your choice, you need to look for the eeectl.ini file for your EEEPC, already modified and tested to get the processor to 1030 Mhz.
We rename the old eectl.in file to eectl_old.ini.old and, in the folder where the eeectl.exe file is located, we insert the new .ini file.
Then create a link of the eeectl file in the " automatic execution " folder to start it together with the PC.
At the bottom right a new icon will appear that will show, alternatively, the processor speed in Mhz, the temperature and the percentage of fan use (notebook hardware control is very useful on laptop temperatures even if I haven't tried it on eeepc) .
By right clicking on the icon at the bottom right you can easily choose the speed at which to run the intel celeron processor of the mini eeepc.
To check the speed of a processor of a windows pc computer and therefore the actual power increase, you can use the CPU-Z software which shows the processor performance in real time
By default, when starting the PC, it is always better to start from 630Mhz or the speed preset by Asus, and raise it in case you need more power.
Do not raise the value if you use the PC battery because it will drain it quickly; never plug the air openings of the fans, especially if you are running it at maximum power.
