Turn off Wifi and Bluetooth on iPhone and iPad completely

Many iPhone and iPad owners have realized, not without annoyance, that starting from iOS 11 the buttons to disable Wifi and Bluetooth from the control center do not work, as if it were a bug or an error, as if they were useless switches.
As you can see, by touching the button that disables Bluetooth or the one that disables wifi, in reality, each connection is disconnected.
However, the wifi or bluetooth radio is not disabled, thus leaving the connectivity active and ready for a new connection.
This behavior of the iPhone with iOS11, however, is really wanted by Apple who wants to leave active wifi and bluetooth, even if they are disabled by the control center, in order to continue using functions considered important such as AirDrop, AirPlay, Continuity, Hotspot, services location, connection with Apple Watch and Apple Pencil.
Too bad that no notes and no warnings are written to communicate these exceptions to the user, or at least not in an easy to recognize way.
If you look closely at the control center of the iPhone, you can see that the Bluetooth and Wifi buttons are colored blue when there is a connection and not colored when they are disconnected.
When, however, bluetooth and wifi are truly disabled, the icons are not only not colored blue, but also have a diagonal line above .
How to turn off wifi and bluetooth on iPhone and iPad "> Hey Siri, turn off Wi-Fi", it should do the trick.
When Siri turns these settings off, it does so in the iOS settings switches.
2) From the control center, via Airplane mode .
If you activate Airplane mode from the control center, all connections will be deactivated, therefore Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and mobile network connection.
Therefore, by first touching the Airplane mode and then the button of the mobile network, the result will be to have the mobile phone working, but with Wifi and bluetooth completely off.
3) From the Settings
Another way to disable bluetooth and wifi on the iPhone is to open the Settings and move the two switches, those of Wifi and that of Bluetooth, going from green to off.
Needless to say, turning off bluetooth and wifi when not in use gives some energy savings and a small benefit to battery life.
