Create Word documents on Android (also Excel and Powerpoint)

A smartphone or, better yet, an Android tablet can also be used to work, perhaps with the addition of a USB keyboard or in Wifi with that of the PC, as if you were using a portable PC.
There are several applications for writing a Word document, including the official Microsoft Office suite for Android .
However, if there are no particular needs, the app also works well, often already installed on Android phones and tablets, Google Docs which allows you to easily create Word files, also having the advantage of being able to save them in the free Google Drive online space .
Then open the Google Docs app and tap the options button at the bottom or the three lines at the top left.
From the menu, tap on Settings to find the option to enable, the one to create Word docx files.
At this point, when you try to create a new file by tapping the + button in the main interface, you will be asked whether to create a new Google Docs file or a Word file.
Choosing the Word file option, a text editor will open to write as you would on your computer.
The file can be saved on Google Drive, to be able to find it on the PC without making manual transfers, it can be sent directly via Email or it can be shared to allow others to read it and, if desired, even modify it.
The same procedure also works for creating Excel and Powerpoint files .
In this case it is necessary to use the Google Sheets and Google Presentations applications respectively.
In the settings you can activate the possibility of creating Xlsx files from Microsoft Excel or Pptx from Microsoft Powerpoint on Android.
