To know the real email address of a person there are some possible ways, not infallible, not perfect, but which, by trying, can work. What we are going to discover today is a really interesting social plugin that integrates into Gmail and allows you to know everything about the activities on the social networks of the people who write to us.
This is the Sales Navigator Linkedin (ex Rapportive) plugin that allows you to check if an Email address is associated with a social profile on the main networks: Facebook, Linkedin and Twitter .

Sales Navigator Linkedin is a free plugin for Gmail that improves the recognition function of Gmail in order to show as much information as possible about an Email contact.
Thanks to Rapportive you can associate the Email address of anyone with your Facebook or Linkedin profile (if it exists).
Sales Navigator Linkedin (ex Rapportive) is a plugin for Chrome, Safari and Firefox browsers .
After installing the plugin as an extension, opening Gmail will reveal a box on the right of the screen where you will be asked to log in and grant Rapportive all the necessary permissions.
After logging in, you need to press the connection keys to connect Rapportive to your Linkedin account.
You can also make these links by pressing the Rapportive link that appears at the top right of Gmail, near your Email address.
After configuring Rapportive, try to open the received messages and put the mouse cursor on an email address to see the photo and other information of the person using that email address appear on the right box.
If a profile is recognized on Linkedin you can also open the profile, add it to friends or connected contacts.
To find the email address of any person, by trying, you can compose a new e-mail message and put all the possible addresses separated by the recipients separated by a semicolon.
You can therefore write:
; ; ; ; and so on.
Without sending anything, move the mouse over the various written addresses and Rapportive will indicate if there is a profile on the associated social networks.
For example, you can try various combinations to find Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and find out that his email address is facebook.com .
If you know where a person works, a site can help us to know his email address, it is Hunter.io, where you can enter the company domain to get as results all the email addresses that have been in some way published on the internet

It should be noted that, unfortunately or fortunately, this is not a way of invading the privacy of others because the information extracted from Rapportive is only that which is deliberately made public by people.
The good news is that if it is true that many prefer to keep their email address covered and private on Facebook, it is not the same for Linkedin which, having business purposes, must necessarily be kept visible.
Curiously, therefore, at least in my experience, it becomes easier to find information on people from Linkedin than from Facebook and Twitter.
A similar extension not strictly linked to Linkedin is Discoverly, free of charge, which shows links to Twitter, Facebook profiles and other information related to the email address of each contact, recipient or sender, of the emails.
