From an account with administrator rights, then, open the Control Panel, go to Administrative Tools and then to Computer Management .
From Computer Management, expand the Users and Groups section and then locate the user to be deleted.
Press on it with the right mouse button and remove it forever.
As Windows reminds by warning, a user's delete action cannot be recovered, therefore once deleted it cannot be restored.
In Windows 10 you can also remove a user by going to the Start menu, opening Settings .
From the Accounts section, go to Family and other users to locate the registered accounts, click on the name of the one to be deleted and press Remove.

Delete a user's profile to reset it on Windows

Deleting a user profile without removing the user means manually deleting the folders where the profile configuration files and personal files are saved .
Deleting a user profile deletes the user's personal documents, photos, music and other files while retaining the access options and password.
If there is important data, it is worth backing up the user profile to save personal folders before proceeding.
User profile data is always stored in the path C: \ Users \ Username.
Inside you will find desktop folders, documents, images and other folders, including the Appdata folder and the NTUSER.DAT file which are hidden.
Since it is not possible to simply delete this data manually, you need to use the system properties.
Using then an administrator account, open the Start menu and open the Expert User Profile Properties .
If you do not find this screen, go to the Control Panel, to the System section, opening the advanced system settings and press Settings under the User Profiles section.
You can also get to this screen by pressing the Windows - R keys together and running the SystemPropertiesAdvanced command
Select the user profile and press the Delete button (the user to be deleted must have been logged out otherwise the Delete button will not be seen).
After completing the steps, log out of the current account and log in again with the account whose profile has just been deleted to allow Windows to reset it and recreate all settings and personal folders from scratch, canceling any errors and problems .
