Open the Microsoft Office 2007 docx, xlsx and pptx files with Office 2003

To solve a simple but annoying problem for many people, this article is more than a brief memorandum for those who work with Microsoft Office 2007.
As everyone knows by now, the 2007 version of Microsoft Office saves the Word, Excel and Powerpoint files in their respective formats: .Docx, .Xlsx and .Pptx while the versions of Office passed up to the 2003 version saved the files in .Doc formats, .Xls and .Ppt.
The discomfort of this change is that Office 2003 owners cannot open files written with Office 2007 .
The discomfort becomes a problem for those who, using their home PC, perhaps new and with the 2007 Office version already installed, must then use the files written in 2007 format, at work or in a print shop where there are most likely computers with installed the version of Office 2003.
Office 2007 users can also save files with Office 2003 extensions or formats and therefore in doc xls and ppt (just go to "save as" and choose to save it as a file for 2003) but it is not the right solution to the problem .
Microsoft has come to support these very common needs (perhaps it has noticed that it has not made a great move by changing the file formats) which offers the download of a Tool called the Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack sp3, obviously in the Italian version.
Once the tool is downloaded it will be possible to open the files with the .docx xlsx and pptx extension in Office 2003, thanks to the FileFormatConverters.exe tool which converts the 2007 Office files into .doc, .xls and .ppt files that can be read and edited with any Office version.
