10 sites with exact time and time zones for every city in the world

If you are preparing to make traveling holidays around the world, then you really need to be informed about the time zones of all the countries you are going to visit.
But the time factor on the internet is also important as regards online communication, via chat or video chat, with people who are in other countries.
On the internet it is said that the borders and distances are zeroed but the same cannot be said regarding time zones: if here in Italy it is night and I have to speak, for pleasure or for work, with a person who is in Los Angeles, you have to consider the wide time difference.
Sending mail or documents to colleagues overseas also requires a verification of time zones.
However, even if only out of curiosity or for wanting to look at something new and well done, we see here the best sites to look at the exact time all over the world, with a graphic glance and an interactive map.

Of course you just need to search Google for "exact time in Tokyo" to get the answer right away or find a lot of time converters.
For example, the Italian time portal is a site showing time zones with a complete table, webcams from New York, Paris and Tokyo, solar lighting and also tells the difference between the atomic clock and the time marked by pc.
These 10 different ways to see the exact time in the world are a list of interactive maps that are very functional but also beautiful to look at (something that certainly cannot be said for the Italian site).
Time zones are always based on the GreenWich meridian (GMT).
1) Time Ticker is an interactive online flash clock that shows the current time around the world.
By moving the mouse over the map and highlighting a region or country, you can immediately see the exact time according to the atomic clock
Below are the names of the main cities included within a specific time zone.
If Real Player is installed on your computer, you can press the Announcing time button.
You can also synchronize the time of the Windows computer with that indicated by the Time Ticker site and you can also read the time on IPhone / Ipod.
2) Time.is has 7 million locations around the world in memory and helps compare time with your computer's clock, telling you how much milliseconds are late or early.
As you open it, a large digital clock with numbers relating to the automatically detected city appears.
From the search field at the top right, you can enter the name of the place whose time you want to see and, as additional information, there are also sunrise and sunset times.
For each city you can click below the date to get a summary page of geographic information: time zone details, latitude and longitude, demographic information, details of public holidays, anniversaries for the day and a Wikipedia link.
By clicking on the options at the top, you can customize the view of the watch as you prefer even if it always remains in English.
3) 24TimeZones is a website with the interactive flash map very nice to see and play with.
Moving the mouse automatically displays the current time for the place where the cursor is positioned, then, if you click, you access an information page with all the details on the weather.
The map can be customized by setting for three clocks for three different time zones.
4) On the World Clock website it shows the time in all the cities of the world on one page.
5) Every Time Zone puts the main cities of the world in a colored grid, indicating the exact time.
The interactive grid allows you to move the green bar up depending on the current time of the place where you are so you can see the difference with the cities indicated.
The covered cities for each region are Honolulu, San Francisco, Chicago, New York, Rio de Janeiro, London, Vienna, Mumbai, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Sydney and Auckland.
6) Qlock (say it aloud) is the simplest indication of the exact time you can find.
Moving the mouse, you can read the times and, from the search box, you can choose any location.
The graphics are not that great but there are also views of the world map from Google Maps and from satellite.
7) At first glance, Daylight Map shows the Earth so you know where it is night and where it is day.
By pressing the Options button, on the right side of the page, you can see the position of the Sun and you can set up to 10 clocks.
By clicking on Enter Site at the top left, you access a menu from which you can see the satellite view of the planet and see the night, clouds and time zones.

You just have to download the right kml file which, after installing it, will make the clocks appear on the map.
From the Google Earth library you can choose between 6 different ways of viewing the world timetables.
12) Finally, to convert the times in the world, you can use the conversion tool on the TimezoneConverter website
