Virtualize Android on PC with Genymotion

One of the most comfortable and widespread practices in the field of information technology is to virtualize operating systems so that they can be used on the same computer.
In another article we have seen the best programs for the virtualization of operating systems, citing, among these, Virtualbox which is the best free.
In another article we saw how easy it is to install Android on PC with Virtualbox in the Android X-86 version, whose development has been interrupted, or almost stopped.
Virtualizing Android on PC can be convenient to try the system before buying a new mobile phone or tablet, to have Android applications always at hand, to try new apps or for any other reason.
To go beyond manual installations, there is a way to install Android on a PC in a much easier, fully automatic way, without replacing Windows, to test the operation of a Nexus 7 smartphone or tablet on a Windows PC .
Among the programs to install Android and its apps on Windows PC, by far the best one is Genymotion, a real virtualization program based on VirtualBox.
This free tool replicates Google Nexus devices with Android versions 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, 5.0, 5.1
Genymotion is very easy to install and configure, just follow the following steps.
First of all, visit the Genymotion website and register by clicking on the Sign up link.
On your inbox, wait for the activation and confirmation message to be received, click the link indicated and then download the Genymotion program, free version, from the web page that opens.
Then install Genymotion on your computer and let Virtualbox, the program to virtualize operating systems, also be installed.
Once the installation is complete, start Genymotion and let the wizard go on by clicking on the Yes button when prompted.
Then connect with the username and password of the account created and choose, from the list, the version of Android to download.
You can choose to virtualize devices such as the Galaxy S5, the Nexus 7 2013, the Nexus 4, the Nexus 10 which has never been released in Italy and other smartphones.
After downloading the virtualization package, click Finish and then, from the Genymotion console, select it and press Play .
After a short wait for initialization, the main Android screen will appear, with a bar of side buttons that are used to control the system.
Once you open virtualized Android on PC it will be like using a normal smartphone, on which to install applications, games and all functions.
The only problem is that you need to install the Google Play Store and the Google Apps which are not included.
Alternatively, another store such as the Amazon Appstore can be installed.
To do this, you only need to allow the installation of applications from the Settings -> Security menu.
Then open the web browser and download the Amazon Appstore.
There is nothing to prevent the creation of multiple Android virtual machines on the same PC within Genymotion, so you can try the various devices without problems or run different versions of Android, for free.
Alternatively, you can always install Android applications (APK) on Windows and Mac with Bluestacks .
