Periscope is a very clean and easy to use app, which is accessed with a Twitter account. From the application it is possible to transmit immediately live or to see the videos of the others by scrolling them in a list sorted by importance and audience. In Periscope you can choose whether to broadcast for everyone, in public or whether to create a private broadcast visible only to those invited. Obviously to use these apps it is essential to have a fast connection, in wifi and not too limited on the data plan.
If you have favorite broadcasters, you can search in the third tab and follow to have a notification on your mobile phone when they start broadcasting a live video. Notifications can be turned off in the settings. Periscope leaves a recording of the video broadcast for 24 hours after the end of the live broadcast, leaving the possibility for other people to be able to view it even on a deferred basis.
While watching a live video (LIVE) you can comment or leave messages to the broadcaster or other active viewers in leaving comments. Periscope does not publish these comments on Twitter in real time as other apps like Meerkat do (In Meerkat, each comment is a Twitter response to the original Meerkat in live timely video Tweet). The flow of messages flows on the video without disturbing or covering it, in a very fluid way.
Those who start using Periscope may find themselves, unless they have many followers on Twitter, in great difficulty in finding spectators.
As also for Youtube, it takes a lot of patience and constancy if you want to become a streaming video star, transmit interesting videos and recover in particular situations such as events, concerts, football matches or parties.
If you intend to make yourself known as a broadcaster and, at the same time, to find interesting video channels of Periscope by gender, you can access the BetterScope site.
To use Periscope, however, it is not necessary to be a broadcaster, you can also just be a spectator and spend some time watching videos to comment on them with those who transmit and with others. Live broadcasts can be searched from the application itself or on Twitter by searching for the word Periscope and finding the links periscope.tv . If you are using a PC, you can therefore watch live Periscope videos even if you cannot comment on them.
