For 2016 we have the candidate to become the game of the year (talking about smartphones and mobile platforms): it is called Slither.io, it is already first in the ranking in the stores and is practically a sequel to Agario, what was one of the games top of 2015. Shilter.io takes up the winning idea of Agario by putting all players to move, in multiplayer mode, in a large space together simultaneously, eating balls to get bigger and bigger. However, if a ball moved in Agario, in Slither.io a small worm must instead move, which becomes bigger and bigger by eating the food it finds in its way. A bit like in the historic (and recently renewed) game of the Nokia Snake, the worm has to move in order to avoid colliding with the head against an obstacle or against another snake.

In every Slitherio game all the worms you see on the screen are led by other players like us. In Slither.io you do not play as in Agario to eat smaller opponents by going on him because, on the contrary, if you clash against another vermicello even smaller than ours, you die and the game ends. It is therefore necessary to move avoiding having the worm's head crash into another and, at the same time, trying to trap opponents by making them come crashing into the body of our snake.
When one worm bumps its head against another it dies and breaks up into various colored balls, the number of which depends on how big it was, which can be eaten by others. The aim of the game is to become the biggest snake of all, climb the ranking visible in the top right corner and stay alive as long as possible. The bigger you get the stronger you become, but at the same time the speed and the space in which to move decrease, increasing the possibility of crashing into some other vermicello.
There are no particular tricks to win as it was in Agario and Slitherio is quite simple and basic, without particular bonuses or special moves.
The only thing you can do is double-tap on the screen (or with the mouse) while holding down on the second touch, to make an acceleration that lasts until you release your finger. With this shot you can try to make some other player crash into our worm so that we can then eat it.
Shooting is particularly effective against larger worms, which are slow and do not have enough speed to avoid a collision when cornered.
The best way to make other snakes die and eat is to surround them with your body by making a circle with no way out, forcing your opponent to come after you.
Another type of winning strategy is to let others slaughter and collide when you see a lot of food left behind by a destroyed worm.
It is worthwhile, unless there is no one around, to avoid assaulting the remains of a dead worm and wait for other worms to collide instead to leave an even more tempting meal. When you get very big, the best way to defend yourself is to try to hide your head inside your body, making circular movements and trying to create a barrier against which the worms that try to make us slam collide. In fact, a worm does not die in Slither.io if it crashes into its own body which remains invisible to itself.
