If you cannot refuse a friendship on Facebook, there is the restricted list

This is a topic I had already covered that is worth taking up again to lend a hand to everyone who receives a lot of friend requests or who wants to tidy up their news homepage filled with uninteresting news.
Facebook's problem is that everyone is there, but not everyone would like to stay in touch.
So it happens to receive friend requests from the friend of the gym or from an ex-schoolmate never since he really would not want to confirm.
On the other hand, it seems almost by now that to refuse someone's friendship on Facebook is an unpleasant and not very polite thing; friendship on Facebook should not be denied to anyone .
To avoid therefore making the figure of the reserved, unsociable or unfriendly, when you can not refuse a friendship on Facebook, there is a convenient and effective solution: the list with restrictions .
When you receive a friend request from someone you really don't want to be friends with, you shouldn't ignore him or refuse his invitation.
Then accept the friendship to add it to the contact list and then add it to the shortlist .
The shortlist is a special Facebook list already set up for everyone that works a bit like a blacklist.
When you put someone on the shortlist, they will be listed as normal friends on Facebook, but they will only be able to see photos and status updates of us that are public .
So if you always publish with visibility Only friends, they will see very little, but they will still be friends and for them there will be no way of knowing that they have been put on a shortlist.
To put someone on the shortlist, you must open their Facebook profile, click on the Friends button at the top of the cover and then on Add to a list .
Scroll down to scroll through the lists and click on the restricted list.
To see the restricted list and add or remove friends, open the Facebook Home, look at the left column, find the Friends section, move the mouse over it and then click on the word Other and finally on " With restrictions ".
The shortlist is different from the list of acquaintances most useful for hiding friends' updates from the home page.
