The Snake Rewind game can be downloaded for free for Android, iPhone and Windows Phone and can therefore be safely considered the official sequel to the old Snake of Nokia phones.
The game dynamics is therefore the same, with the snake moving by touching the screen left or right to make it turn and make it change direction in order to eat the balls and avoid going against a wall or against itself when it becomes very long . In addition to obviously having more colorful graphics, Snake Rewind offers variations in the game including bonuses, levels to unlock by completing different missions. During the various games, fruits are collected, which is a bit of the virtual money of the game, which can be used in the store to buy additional bonuses at the start of the game. The snake controls are very different than the Nokia game because there are no physical buttons on a smartphone. The main disadvantage of this method is the accidental double tap on the same point on the screen which can lead to a different direction than expected. In essence, while the original Snake was very repetitive and, in the long run, even boring, Snake Rewind is much more varied, with missions and levels to unlock and with the possibility of continuing a game without having to start over, to improve the record at some fruit. Lovers of the old Snake will only appreciate this new game while on the liking of the younger ones there is perhaps less to bet.
