Time Lapse videos are montages of photos taken from the same point and for a certain period of time, at regular intervals. This way you can see how a scene changes in a relatively long time span, with a video of a few minutes.
The photographic technique called Hyper-lapse would be time-lapse in motion, with the camera focused on a specific point of interest.
That said, an interesting web application now allows you to create Hyper-lapse videos using Google Street View and then automatically mounting photos of road routes around the world.
Creating such a video would require many hours of work and extreme precision.
With Google Street View Player, on the other hand, everything is simpler and you can create the video of a road trip in which the images pass quickly, as if it were shooting from the fixed camera placed in front of the car

To create a video similar to this, with a different path, you must use the Google Chrome browser and navigate to the Streetview Player web page where there is an experimental application capable of generating a sequence of images of the road from one point to another .
From the map at the top right, look for any street (which has been photographed by the Google Maps Streetview service) and then move the two placemarks, drawing a street.
Since the tool is free, to allow everyone to try it, it has very basic and not too powerful settings. It is therefore necessary to draw a road that is not too long as you cannot change the duration of the video that will be created, so if you choose a path that is too long, the passage of the images will be too fast.
A crosshair representing the point of view also appears on the map.
This viewfinder can also be moved after the creation of the video.
After drawing the road, press the button to create the video and view it in full screen.
