Fill text boxes automatically on the internet

When writing an online form or a text field on any website, when you have to fill in the registration or registration forms, or when you want to leave a comment on a forum or blog like this, a compiler would be useful automatic so you don't have to repeat the writing every time .
For example, almost all websites and blogs require you to enter at least one name and one email address which presumably are always the same.
In addition, the more cautious, prefer not to use the automatic filling feature that all browsers have, the one for which the data written in the text fields of the online forms are remembered, including the access data to the registered accounts (username and password) .
Then there are those cases where you have to fill in many different fields such as, for example, the online curriculum or some purchase form as well as booking air flights or joining an online community, where then you have to write your name, surname, address, telephone number, email etc.
In all these cases, you can save a lot of time and effort by using an autofill program that can fill most of this always the same information .
Depending on the need, we see 3 possible uses of automatic filling.
1) Who uses Google Chrome can use the " Auto fill " function found in the options, only that it is really very limited because it only supports the address and credit card number without the ability to select check boxes or radio buttons .
For Google Chrome, as well as for Firefox, there are at least two excellent extensions that allow you to automatically fill in the forms of any form or text field online.
The Autofill extension is available for both Chrome (link) and Firefox (link).
After installing the extension, you can go to fill out a form and after making the entries by hand, you can right-click, select Autofill and then " Create Rule for this form ".
After creating the profile, each time you visit the same page, Autofill immediately fills in all the text fields of the form .
Autofill has many advanced options that if you learned to use it would allow you to manage any text and selection field for all websites.
2) Personally, I prefer, instead of doing an automatic compilation, to save the values of the text fields that meet frequently: name, email address and then also address, postcode, surname and city.
Having more control means giving up automatic filling and staying with a manual compilation done with mouse strokes, without having to type with the keyboard.
For example, if you often visit blogs to add comments, instead of writing your name and email every time, you can use Google Chrome with the Insert Text extension .
This extension is much less powerful than Autofill but also more functional.
By going into the extension options, you can pre-populate text fields and save them.
Then going to a site with a text field (as well as the comments form below), you can press the right mouse button, select Insert Text and then choose the field with which you want to fill the space.
This also becomes very useful for writing emails when it is necessary to repeat certain courtesy formulas or certain information or even in forums and blogs during the registration procedures.
Just make sure that a recognizable name is associated with each precompiled field otherwise it would be very confusing.
In any case I would say never to save sensitive information such as credit card numbers or passwords ; in another article I have indicated the best programs to memorize internet passwords in a safe and secure way with LastPass or Roboform.
3) Let's say that you are compiling an online CV to apply for a job, patiently you write all the information and then, when you are near the end, the PC crashes and the browser closes.
The same can be said if you are writing a long email or even commenting on a blog.
To avoid losing the work done to write on a text field of a website or web application, you can install an extension for Chrome called Form Filler that saves the data of the forms and text areas, automatically giving way to recover them when needed .
Lazarus encrypts and protects all the information saved automatically as you type so, if a form fails to send, if you forget to save the written information or if the computer crashes and the browser is closed, it is now possible to return to the page and recover the data entered .
In the options of the extension you can ask to save the typed passwords and to protect all the data saved with a password.
Throughout the article I have never mentioned Internet Explorer for which there is no autofill support such as those seen above.
The only solution is to use the Google Toolbar auto-fill.
