Hiding a file inside an image file means that any file with the .jpg extension can contain, inside it, one or more different files such as documents, music.
The Jpg extension is the characteristic of digital camera files and is the classic format of image files.
Hiding a file means not making it visible on the computer, only those who have hidden it know that something else is hidden inside the chosen Jpg file.
To hide a file you need to have WinRar the program that creates compressed file archives.
The procedure is as follows:
Create a folder inside C: \ and call it Test .
Inside the folder we bring a photo or image with a jpg extension (we call it photo_prova.jpg ), and two or three different files, perhaps of the text type .txt but you can put the files you want.
Now select with the mouse all the files inside the folder, press the right button and, in the contextual menu, click on " Add to archive test.rar " (or Add to archive ... and give the name that you want to the rar file).
Now a test.rar file appears containing the selected files.
to hide the test folder files inside the image file, go to Start -> Run Program -> write cmd -> ok to open the Dos command window.
On the Dos window you have to write:
cd C: \ test
copy / b foto_prova.jpg + test.rar foto_prova.jpg .
All the files have now been hidden inside the image file foto_prova.jpg and it is now possible to delete all the other files, copy the jpg file to another folder and also delete the Test folder.
The foto-prova.jpg file is a normal image file with a hidden and not visible peculiarity: it contains other different files, those that were inside the test folder.
To recover and view hidden files you can:
1) right click on the image file foto_prova.jpg, choose the "Open with .." option and select the WinRar program.
2) change the name of the file from foto_prova.jpg to foto_prova.rar and open it normally as any .rar archive with the files that had been hidden inside.
This just seen is the easiest way to hide and hide files on your computer without using external programs or complex and lengthy procedures.
