Microsoft To-Do, app to create to-do lists and reminders

When Microsoft launches a new program we must always talk about it and even if this time it is not anything innovative, the news is very welcome.
It is Microsoft To-Do, an application for PC and mobile phones that allows you to create to-do lists, take notes and keep them online in a synchronized way with all devices .
One could say that Microsoft already has a program of this type, which is OneNote, ToDo is however a simpler application, made not so much for taking notes, but for organizing the days, appointments and, indeed, things to do.
Microsoft To-Do is now available as a preview as an app for Windows 10, as a website and as an application for Android and iPhone smartphones.
The application acts like an agenda, simple and quick to use, to create, organize and keep track of all the activities that must be done.
For any type of thing to do you can create a personalized list, which can be a shopping list, a list of recipes, a series of projects for the home, a list of work or fitness commitments or maintenance of the machine and that you want.
This new program is similar, for those who know it, to other online reminders or reminders to remember things like Remember The Milk or even as Wunderlist, which was purchased by Microsoft some time ago.
Not surprisingly, from Microsoft To-Do it is possible to import all the data from Wunderlist and from Todoist, another similar application.
From Microsoft To-Do you can configure deadlines for each activity and reminder, with daily, weekly, monthly or personalized recurrence.
You can also add notes and customize each list you create with a graphic theme.
One of the best features is Microsoft's ability of To-Do to stay focused on daily activities, presenting things to do immediately in a main list.
By pressing the light bulb button in the upper right corner you can review the activities of the previous day, the upcoming ones and receive suggestions based on how you use the application.
This Microsoft To-do is a very promising app, already available for the main platforms, although it lacks many options and settings that characterize more mature apps like Wunderlist instead.
For example, one day after its release, there is no possibility of sharing the activity lists with other people and there is still no voice support, to create a lot of things to do by voice which is sometimes much more comfortable.
For sure, however, the app will be improved in the coming months also with the integration of the Office suite and, in particular, with Microsoft Outlook.
