Work on 4 open windows side by side and multiple programs together on Windows

When you use multiple programs on the computer together or if you have to keep multiple windows open, without always mixing them on the desktop, iconising them, resizing them and so on, it is convenient to use a convenient application that can help keep them always in view, organized and easily accessible on the screen.
In this way it becomes easier to keep an eye on several programs at the same time, placing the windows side by side in the ways you prefer.
AquaSnap is the name of a highly appreciated free utility (also according to the comments on other websites) that allows you to use multiple windows simultaneously in a simple and efficient way.
This tool that works on Windows XP, Vista and Seven, significantly improves a typical function of Windows 7 and Vista Aero Snap which, in a nutshell, allows you to automatically arrange the windows dragged to the side of the screen so that they occupy half of them.
So, by dragging one window to the left and one to the right, they will automatically place side by side, in the perfect size and position to divide the desktop space.
There is a version of AeroSnap for Windows XP to support two windows but with Aqua Snap you can have a better solution that has many more levels of customization and management and which above all allows you to divide the screen into 4 parts.
AquaSnap is also excellent on Windows 7 and Vista because of the greater control over the windows.
The download of the Aqua Snap program can be done for free, whatever Windows version you have.
The installation does not have any specialties and you can leave the default settings.
As soon as installed, AquaSnap runs automatically and will be noticed with the appearance of a new icon in the taskbar at the bottom right.
Leaving everything as it is, without therefore entering the configuration menu, you can already try to drag a window to the corners of the screen and verify that it automatically resizes occupying a quarter or half of the space, horizontally or vertically.
In this way, as evident, 4 Windows windows can be placed side by side, all visible in front of the eyes.
By still dragging the window to a central point, it returns to its previous dimension.
You can also drag internal windows of MDI (Multi Document Interface) programs such as two Excel sheets.
All this becomes very useful if you have to work on multiple programs together or on multiple Word or Excel documents.
For example, you can have a file folder, a Word document, an Internet window and a notepad, all active and all in front of the eyes so you can easily and immediately copy and paste, from one side to the other. other of the screen.
In addition, AquaSnap allows you to keep all windows always on top .
Just shake a window with the mouse ( AeroShake function) and it will become semi transparent and will always be above all the others. (for example, if you work with Excel, you can always keep the calculator in front without disturbing you).
Going to the options (right click on the icon in the taskbar -> Settings ) you can choose whether to start AquaSnap when Windows starts, choose how the window should behave when you drag it to a side point or in a corner of the screen, whether or not to activate the AeroShake or AquaSake functions and the AquaGlass function that makes windows transparent when dragging, decide the degree of opacity or transparency of windows in the AquaShake phase.
In the Appearance tab you can choose whether to preview how the window will be arranged.
AquaSnap can always be activated or deactivated by pressing the right button on the icon below, near the clock.
In Windows 7, deactivating the program restores the standard AeroSnap functionality while in Windows XP it is completely stopped.
It is probably an "extra" that many will find unnecessary; I still recommend trying it, especially for those who work with many windows open on the monitor, also because the memory consumption of AquaSnap is really low, less than 1 MB and therefore, without any weight on the system resources.
For those who use two monitors, the tool has multiscreen support .
The only flaw found is that it does not work with all programs, and the windows of some software (for example Ccleaner), cannot be placed side by side.
I can assure you that it is satisfying to see, for example, a movie or online TV, keeping the video always superimposed while you work.
Other similar programs allow you to align windows in a grid and move them quickly.
