Send files via SMS or Whatsapp with an Android mobile phone

Those who use smartphones, Android or iPhone today, I think no longer use MMS to send files or images, because they are very expensive, slow and absolutely not very flexible.
There are many applications for sending files from a mobile phone, including the famous app of free WhatsApp messages.
With Whatsapp, however, you can only send audio files, photos and videos, not other types of files such as a Word document or a PDF.
In addition, with Whatsapp the videos can be up to 12MB in size while the images are compressed and are seen well only on the small screen of the phone, not on the computer.
The goal then is to find a way to send files of any type from your mobile phone with Whatsapp or via SMS .

With an Android smartphone, the WeTransfer application can be used to send files via SMS or via Whatsapp
This free app does not require an account and allows you to transfer any type of file to your device either via SMS or in WhatsApp or via Email by sharing the link.
When you want to transfer a file, open the app, choose the file and then where to share it if on the SMS or other app.
The file is immediately uploaded online and a link is provided that can be sent via SMS, via Whatsapp or via email to the recipient, who can then download it by clicking the link from his mobile phone connected to the internet.
WeTransfer is not the only application of this type, an alternative is Send Anywhere, which also works to make direct transfers via wifi network.
UPDATE: Whatsapp can send files of any type
