In the video game stores there are real masterpieces however they cost dear to often there are no versions for Windows PC and even less for Linux operating systems.
We who then do not want to shell out a lot of money for a game, we "settle" to download them for free, not illegally because those that follow are only free games from birth.
This list is a sequel to that of the best 10 online and multiplayer shooter games, all in first person, in subjective, in 3D, similar to Doom, Quake and Unreal where you can see the barrel of the gun or rifle in front and you shoot to kill whoever comes in front.

I don't make a ranking this time, they are all beautiful but I didn't have time to play it enough to say which is better or worse so I leave your comments to promote or reject these titles.
1) Red Eclipse is a free 3D shooter game for Windows Mac and Linux described in detail in another article and beautiful for its speed and the fun of multiplayer games.
2) Savage 2 Resurretion is a freeware game for Windows, Mac and Linux PCs, first-person, hybrid, in the sense that in addition to the action there are role-playing and strategy game components . It is played online, exclusively in multiplayer mode against other real players. The first-person view can be replaced with that of the shoulders, always in 3D but not in a subjective way. You can play in teams and it is the most fun even if challenging mode. The many functions and options available require some time to learn so it is certainly not a game for half an hour a day. Graphically very attractive, it also presents various and non-repetitive sound effects. Savage 2 aims to combine the best elements of a wide range of genres.
3) Urban Terror is a rather dated Windows PC game that was released at least two years ago but is worth repurposing as much as it is fun. This time, no hybrids, Urban Terror is a Quake 3 engine based first person shooter with better, healthier graphics and additional features. Realistic combat simulation makes playability its strong point. It collides with other real players and, in addition to shooting there are also several possible actions such as leaning over, jumping, stunts, sliding on walls and fighter things. One does not die as soon as one is hit but there is the classic resistance bar that can be reintegrated with medicines. As chaotic as all Quake-like games, it becomes fun as you have to shoot more and better than others to survive.
4) Cube 2 Sauerbraten is a free first-person game for Windows Linux and Mac PCs. The graphics are not wonderful but the playability is worthy of the best predecessors with a frenetic action where you have to hold the gun tightly in your hand and download the magazines for get out alive. It can be played in single mode or in online multiplayer. Cube 2 goes more in the direction of Unreal Tournament Arena, where an all against all takes place but there are also team modes, deathmatches and flag steals. As the name implies, if you are able to see the blood, you will not be disappointed by the violent surrender of the kills and exploding grenades.
5) PaintBall 2 is a very fast multiplayer first person game with online games against other real players. This game requires intelligence, strategy, cunningness and reflexes. If you do not go fast, you will find yourself killed with a blow to the back. It is played in team mode, with the flag steal or with the total war mode. The game is very simple, fast and fun for all ages, available for Windows and Linux
6) Better still is Alien Arena whose new realease has been released for a few days. It can be downloaded for both Windows and Linux PCs and is a first person shooter with subjective 3D graphics . There are many levels to play, a good level of graphics but above all a frenetic and fast playability that takes your breath away and leaves you breathless throughout the game, until you die. Players are monstrous aliens and can enter total shooter, deathmatch or capture the flag mode.
7) America's Army is a rather curious game since it belongs to the American army . However, the war scenario experienced firsthand makes it a very realistic and disturbing simulation. The shooter, however, is very good both graphically and from the point of view of playability.
8) Tremolous is a first-person FPS always in Unreal Tournament style, for Windows, Mac and Linux PCs, to download for free. There are also elements of real time strategy so the hybrid of an action game mixed with role playing is repeated. Fun, however, I can say with certainty, is assured because it is frenetic, violent and decidedly relentless. Humans versus aliens, each with their own weapons and each player can choose which side to stand on. The graphics are a bit poor but the Quake 3 engine makes it very fluid and fast.
9) Assault Cube is a completely open source, and therefore free, first person fps game for Windows, Mac and Linux. The 3D graphics are truly highly realistic, with a subjective view from the rifle, where the player moves freely in the war territory. You can also play in multiplayer, on the LAN.
10) For Arena fans, a first person shooter can be downloaded for both Windows and Linux.
11) Team Fortress 2 is one of the most played first-person shooters in the world, multiplayer and free for Windows, Linux and Mac, very fast-paced and hilarious.
12) Unvanquished is a first person multiplayer shooter where you fight with monstrous insects.
13) Xonotic is a 3D first-person game similar to Unreal Tournament and Quake, with many game modes, levels to overcome.
14) Freedoom is the open source clone of the old Doom game, a cult that can be considered the first FPS game in history.
15) Wolfenstien: Enemy Territory is a classic war shooter, set in World War II, where you can join the allied army or the axis forces and collaborate between players.
