Google has launched a new educational web application which is a pleasure to use to explore the human body and look inside. Just as with Google Earth and the exploration of the world in every detail, now with Google Body Browser you can enter the human body by looking at every anatomical detail in 3D and exploring the bones, the nervous system, the muscles and every organ or gland.
Each part of the body can then be enlarged with a zoom level worthy of a professional medical program.
At the same time, however, you can visit the Google anatomy atlas as if it were a video game, with very simple commands and high resolution images that highlight even the smallest capillary of the blood vessels.
Before clicking on the Body Browser link, you must download and install a browser that supports 3D WebGL technology with which the web application (Chrome or Firefox) was created.

On the left there is a vertical bar with which you can choose what to see of the human body and, starting from the skin, you can switch to the sight of the bones, muscles, organs, cardiovascular system and nervous system .
It almost seems like a tool to stratify the human body, gradually removing layers of skin and organs from the body to see the inside.
It is therefore not mandatory to go from one level to another clearly, you can also choose a mixed view and see, for example, bones and muscles together.
By enabling the display of the labels, the names of each individual part of the body can be read.
By writing the name of an organ in the search bar (in English), the enlarged image appears below with a perfectly real graphic reconstruction.
Unfortunately it's all in English but, I think it won't take long, to have an Italian version.
The human body can be rotated and zoomed with the mouse as it is done with Google Earth.
This Google is not new in the internet world in fact there are other excellent sites to see the anatomy of the 3D human body on the internet .
