Nintendo DS emulator on Windows to play nds roms on pc

One of the most interesting and most read articles of this blog was that related to the use of flash cards on Nintendo DS and Nintendo DS Lite and how to download the Roma from the internet and use them by uploading video games to the NDS.
For those who don't own a Nintendo DS and want to try it and see what the games are, I try to relaunch the topic by reporting, three excellent emulators to play the Nintendo DS videogames, directly on a computer with Windows.
These emulators generally work quite well and developers are constantly updating their software to improve performance.
1) The first emulator for Nintendo DS on PC and certainly the best for all experts in the sector, is called NO $ GBA .
NO $ GBA is a software that runs games developed for Nintendo DS or GBA (Game Boy Advance) on any PC.
In fact, an emulator is nothing more than a program that simulates a different system, in this case a Nintendo DS or GBA, so the PC behaves in the same way and with the same functionality.
In this way it is possible to load on the computer and make it recognize a game programmed for another device, which can be a console or another system.
NO $ GBA can be installed without too many problems and is easy to use even if there are multiple configurations and customizations.
For optimal performance and ideal configuration, you can set it in the " Emulation " tab from the " Setup NO $ GBA " menu.
It is therefore advisable to set:
Emulation Speed: Auto Realtime;
Reset / Startup Entrypoint: Start cartridge
directly
Video Output: 24 bit
3D renderer: No cash
GBA mode: VGA
NDS cartridge Backup: Flash 512k
Sound Output: Digital Stereo
Sound
Sample Rate: Low
Multiboot port: None
Multiboot Normal: Medium
links
GamePacks: in all GBA
Finally, to adapt the PC monitor to the dual screen of the Nintendo DS, the settings can be automated thanks to the MyZoom tool that allows you to configure the 2 screens as best as possible.
The file you download is an archive to be extracted with WinRar or with 7-Zip.
Once installed, just start it with NO $ GBA already installed and allows you to choose various parameters such as the setting of the border, the rotation, the frameskip, the resolution and more.
2) The second emulator is called Desmume and it is easier to use and configure.
Just install it and you can immediately load the roms to play.
3) An interesting project is the Spanish one of WinDS Pro which unifies the best emulators for Nintendo DS in a single program, easy to use and already optimized with the best configurations.
For the less experienced and for those who are bad with NO $ GBA, you can try the latter solution.
As for the download of the games, remembering that on Nintendo DS they are called "Rom", I have to refer to a search with Google.
For the writing of this post I have to thank the support of Valentino, a friend and reader of this blog.
