Check someone else's PC in a Hangout (video chat) on Google+

Google+ as a social network is not, for now, a great success, at least when compared to Facebook and Twitter; but as a communication and sharing tool it remains one of the best online services out there and has no equal.
By subscribing to Google+, in fact, you get the opportunity to create a video conference with several people who can talk to each other simultaneously, as is also the case with Skype.
With the Hangout you can open a video chat in Google+ with one or more people, up to 9 together.
With Hangouts it is also possible to broadcast live video on Youtube and also watch the same Youtube video with other friends.
Now Google has added another feature to Hangouts, the ability to control other people's computers remotely .
By opening a Hangout on Google+, you can choose to remotely control and view another person's computer during a chat session .
The Remote Desktop is hidden under the Add other applications section which appears as a button on the left side when starting a video chat session.
You can then open the video chat, start the Remote Desktop application and then invite a person to participate.
Obviously, all participants in the hangout must be signed up for Google+.
The chat partner does not have to have the application installed on their Google+, however, only that it must be present to accept the invitation and authorize remote access.
Other people who will be spectators of the intervention remotely can also participate in the session.
Who has the computer that is controlled remotely in the HangOut, however, does not lose its management and can intervene or terminate the connection whenever he wants.
Google+ Hangout therefore becomes an excellent alternative to programs such as TeamViewer, LogMeIn and other applications to share the PC screen.
The Remote Desktop can be used effectively to provide remote technical assistance to relatives or friends who have computer problems or to explain how a program works.
The Google+ Remote Desktop application works with the same remote desktop technology in Google Chrome that you can install as a browser extension, only that it is much simpler.
The service works really well, it is fast and stable, above all it can be used for free.
