Share a Google calendar with other people

For millions of people, Google Calendar is the application chosen to store deadlines, commitments and events, perfect for managing all types of professional and student activities.
The advantage of Google Calendar is that it is accessible with a Google account and that it integrates so well in Gmail and also on Android phones.
It is an easy and fast solution, which after the recent restyling seems to have become better than ever, full of imaginative functions and hidden tricks that can make the life of those who use it easier.
Beyond the subtleties, however, it is important to know that the Google Calendar can be shared with other people, which is a perfect thing for those who work with other people, whether as a customer, supplier or collaborator.
The ability to create shared calendars is really useful every time you have to synchronize appointments during the year, for example tax deadlines or scheduled meetings, travel, exams or whatever you want.
Two people, or even a more or less large group, can add notes and events to the same calendar so that everyone is informed about the scheduled appointments and events, automatically .
Furthermore, since the calendar is also a tool for agreeing on dates, sharing the calendar allows you to view the accepted and rejected appointments of others.

To share a calendar, open calendar.google.com and log in with your Google Account.
In the left pane, expand my calendars, locate the calendar to share, hover over it and press on the three vertical points.
You can also create a new calendar to use in common with other people by pressing the + button.
From the menu of the three vertical points, or when creating the new calendar, you can click on Settings and sharing .
Scroll down until you find the " Share with specific people " options to write the names (if present in the address book) or Gmail addresses of users who can view the calendar and events.
Optionally you can make sure that people with whom you share the calendar are allowed to edit events.
You can also make the calendar public so that anyone with the link can view it.
The option to make it public is in the same calendar settings tab, under " Access permissions ".
Once the option is activated, you can click to see the links which can then be shared with the people concerned.
In this case, whoever sees the calendar cannot modify the events but only see them.
Keep in mind that you can also send a single calendar event to a person without sharing the entire calendar with him.
In fact, when creating each event, there is the option to invite a person and give them permission or not to modify the event.
