Share files in Facebook groups with Dropbox

If you want to share a file on Facebook that is not a photo or video, you should normally use an external "cloud" service such as those described in the post on the 10 fastest ways to share files with everyone on the internet
There is also an internal system for sending files as an attachment to a private message on Facebook, which works much like Email.
Now a new function has been added to share files, with one or more people and without size limits, using the integration with Dropbox .
File sharing via Dropbox is available for all accounts (as long as you have a free account registered on Dropbox) and can be used in the Groups section.
Open the list of groups on Facebook and, in each group, you can now click on the " Add File " button to choose the Dropbox option and activate sharing of a file already uploaded online with people belonging to the same group.
As already explained in the past, anyone can create a new Facebook group with two clicks so there is no technical difficulty (they are not fan pages).
To use sending files via Dropbox you need to connect your Dropbox account on Facebook .
I remember that after registering an account you have 2 GB of free space on Dropbox which can be increased by following the instructions on the site (for example by inviting a friend).
From the account settings, you can connect your Facebook account with Dropbox in the social section (it earns 100 MB of space).
The files shared on Facebook can be viewed by group members and downloaded even by those who do not have a Dropbox account or who do not want to connect.
Update: File sharing in Facebook groups is no longer based on Dropbox and is limited to the size of 100 MB per file.
