Amazon Music Unlimited is one of the best music streaming services available in Italy: thanks to its over 50 million songs, it allows you to listen to music of any kind at the highest quality. Currently the subscription to the Unlimited version of the service costs € 9.99 per month with the individual subscription or € 14.99 per month for the family subscription (up to 6 manageable accounts), but you can save on the subscription and pay only € 4 per month by associating the Unlimited service with an Amazon Echo device (all versions) or an Amazon Fire TV Stick.

Requirements

The reduced price subscription requires an Amazon Echo or Fire TV Stick to be placed in the home. If we don't have any Amazon devices, we can use the list below to choose the model that best suits our needs:

How to activate the discounted Unlimited subscription

After activating an Amazon Echo or a Fire TV Stick, we can activate the subscription to Music Unlimited from € 4 per month by simply saying " Alexa, try Amazon Music Unlimited " or " Alexa, activate Amazon Music Unlimited " to the Amazon Echo or by pressing the voice command button on the Fire TV Stick remote control.
Alternatively we can try the service by opening the Amazon Music app on the Fire TV and opening the Settings page, from which you can activate the service.
If we have used voice commands, Alexa will explain the benefits of the subscription and the monthly cost applied directly to the payment method added to Amazon ; in any case, the first 30 days are free and we can withdraw at any time, even before the end of the trial days.

How to take advantage of the subscription on other devices

The benefits of Amazon Music Unlimited activated via Echo or Fire TV are practically the same as the classic subscription from € 9.99 per month, but with a substantial difference: the subscription will be available exclusively on the Echo or Fire TV device on which you are activated .
If we try to open the Amazon Music app from a smartphone, tablet or PC with the same account where the Amazon Music Unlimited subscription activated via Echo or Fire TV is active, we will only have access to the free songs or songs included in the Amazon Prime subscription (also called Amazon Music Prime).
In fact, the subscription for € 4 per month is only worthwhile if we listen to music through the Echo or the Fire TV very often : if we want to take advantage of the subscription on any device in our possession, we will have to subscribe to the Amazon Music Unlimited subscription from € 9.99 per month (individual) or from € 14.99 per month (family account).

How to deactivate your subscription

To deactivate the discounted Amazon Music Unlimited subscription, just say " Alexa, deactivate Amazon Music Unlimited " in front of the Echo or by pressing the voice command button on the Fire TV remote control.
Alternatively, we can also deactivate the subscription from the Amazon Music settings page.

From the settings page, simply click on the Cancel subscription item present under the Subscription Renewal section to block the automatic renewal or to end the trial period (which will still be available until the last day offered).

Conclusions

If we want to legally stream music and spend less than € 5 a month, the Amazon Music Unlimited subscription dedicated to Echoes and Fire TV Sticks is the right choice, even if limited to a single device.
