How to activate Verified Content in Internet Explorer 11

" Verified content " is an internal feature of Internet Explorer that allows you to filter the content to be viewed on the internet.
In practice it is the blocking function to prevent the user from opening sites belonging to certain categories such as, for example, adult sites.
After enabling " Content Verified ", only sites that meet or exceed the security criteria can be viewed on that computer.
This feature, ideal for parents who want to avoid unpleasant surprises for young children as they surf, is not enabled by default and is indeed hidden in Internet Explorer 11 .
In Internet Explorer 11, if you want to use the verified content function, you must first enable it .
To do this, you need to open the configuration window using a command prompt as an administrator.
In Windows 8 then press the right mouse button at the left corner of the screen and then choose the command prompt from the list.
In Windows 7, a Run window is sufficient, provided that the user is an administrator.
The command to write: RunDll32.exe msrating.dll, RatingSetupUI (copy and paste).
Pressing Enter opens the Content Verified configuration window.
Alternatively, open the administrative model configuration using the gpedit.msc command in the Run box.
From there, open User Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> Internet Explorer -> Internet Control Panel -> Content Tab .
The Show verified content option must be enabled.
Press twice on it, activate and apply the change.
Now, opening the Internet Explorer Options you will find, under the Content tab or, the option to configure the Verified Content, to activate or deactivate it.
In the settings you can decide the categories of sites to be prohibited based on the description or indicate the precise addresses of the websites to be blocked or approved.
However, this security measure only applies to Internet Explorer and not to other browsers.
