Online app for fast reading of web pages and texts

Speaking of fast reading easily leads to thinking of those courses where you are taught to quickly read a book or text that is addressed to those who have difficulty studying or to help the educational development of children.
As it will be easy to imagine who says to read a thousand words per minute is clearly one who does not understand anything of what he is reading therefore, if asked "what he was talking about"> Given the abundance of targeted courses, surely there are a lot of fast and fast reading techniques of books that maybe work but that will certainly not be the subject of this article.
What I like is to discover new websites and programs that are useful to do something concrete so, after seeing games to write fast on the computer, it was interesting to discover four web applications that support to read quickly a text online, a newspaper, a blog.
These are clearly very simple online tools that do nothing but take the selected text, enlarge it and show it as if it were a karaoke, at a variable speed that can also become a challenge or a game.
1) Zap Reader is a free web application which, in theory, allows you to learn to quadruple the reading speed.
When you find the text you want to read, copy and paste it on Zap Reader and start playback by pressing play.
The result is the rapid appearance of the words that make up the text, showing them large, in sequence.
You can control the speed with which words flow, pause playback, or go back and forth manually as if it were a video.
From the point of view of effectiveness, this is the best tool for me to learn to read quickly and to challenge yourself to see up to how many words you can follow with your eye in a minute .
The proposed technique certainly discourages distraction because words follow one another continuously, without stopping and do not give time to breathe.
ZAP Reader can also be used as a bookmarklet, therefore putting a button to add to the favorites bar of Explorer or other browsers so that, whatever web page you are looking at, you can read it using the word-by-word quick reading.
If you use the bookmarklet, you must first select the text you want to read with the mouse because otherwise it will not work.
2) Spreeder is almost the same as Zap Reader and the words are shown large, in sequence, with a speed that can be selected as desired.
By opening the site, an English text immediately appears which can be replaced with any other to copy and paste.
On the settings button you can decide the words that must appear in a minute.
If you put a long enough text, you can try the effect of reading 1000 words per minute (unit of measure "wpm") and realize how impossible it is for a normal human brain.
Among other things, you can choose the color and size of the font printed on the screen and you can also, by pressing on advanced, choose a variable speed depending on the length of the words and phrases.
3) Spreed is an extension for Google Chrome that adds a button to open the speed reading page of the site you are visiting.
It is undoubtedly the most comfortable system, ideal for reading any blog or newspaper article and learning to read as fast as possible.
4) Sprint Reader is even more powerful, again for Google Chrome, it is used to quickly read any online text or article on blogs and newspapers.
Words flow very fast, written large, to read even a long book in less than an hour.
5) ReadSpeeder is another online tool that offers support for reading speed.
This also looks like a video player, with the play, pause, forward and back buttons.
Also on ReadSpeeder you can control the reading speed and increase it up to the maximum personal limit so as to train and practice to learn to read quickly.
The graphical interface is more beautiful but, in my opinion, less clear because the text that appears has a smaller font.
The single words do not appear in sequence but with a series between two and four at a time.
On this site you can register for free and without necessarily giving an existing email, to have the advantage of saving the selected texts and reading them later.
The article to be read can be copied from any web page and pasted in the section where "Add Text" is written.
To play it instead you have to press the "Submit Text" button and finally, press the "reset" on the player and finally "play".
Also for ReadSpeeder you can use the bookmarklet in order to use the tool without having to enter its site but simply by pressing the button, after selecting a text, wherever you are browsing.
Even with this tool you can learn to read quickly with a technical support capable of showing short pieces of text in rapid succession that force the reader not to be distracted and to remain attentive.
6) On the Words Flash site, on the other hand, you can paste a text and then see the words pass one after the other, to read more or less quickly.
These tools can be recommended, at least for testing purposes, for everyone to measure their reading skills but their use can also be recommended for learning how to get used to reading quickly.
Do not neglect the use as a support for those who find it difficult to read texts online when they are written small or on internet pages with colors with an unhappy contrast.
