Add comics or subtitles to a YouTube video

Adding comics to videos, per se, is an operation that can be done with not too much difficulty through some video editing programs.
On the internet, however, there are always websites that try to facilitate the lives of those who surf the internet and that offer fun services even if, at times, useless.
In this case we see how to add words on a video in the form of comics where you can have fun doing satire, maybe serious videos, or write your own comments to the scenes taken from the video.
To be precise, we talk about YouTube videos, so before you can use the tool you need to upload videos to Youtube.
On Youtube, through the annotations function, you can upload videos by adding comment words that appear at certain points.
You can also activate the automatic subtitle function or add the transcription of a dialogue or a speech.
Since 2012 it is also possible to read the Italian subtitles of the videos on Youtube.
Here are other external web applications with which you can add subtitles or comics to videos.
1) Video Notes, explained in another article, is the best web app for taking notes while watching a Youtube video
2) CaptionGenerator is the best online tool to add subtitles to any Youtube video .
The app makes it easy to add in the right time so you can sync them with your movies.
Famous is the video of the film Hitler, used ironically to comment on political events.
3) On the Remixito site, on the other hand, the words written on some photos preloaded by the site can be changed.
These are funny and humorous images to be modified in the text.
Much nicer is the video section where you can edit the words that appear in a piece of a film, a famous cartoon or a TV broadcast, as you like.
4) TubePopper was a free service that allows you to add comics to any YouTube video (it no longer exists).
You can add in these bubbles, the words of your choice, choose the position of the comic on the video, the size and configure how long they must remain visible on the video.
The application is a beta created for "Cartoonizzare YouTube" which has been very little used but which has some rather interesting practical applications.
In fact, a very useful and, above all, very fast tool is available to add text into a video.
For example, we can add comments to photos after making a slideshow; add comics to make jokes; add subtitles to videos, perhaps in English; add captions or comments to illustration videos or create a story to a video that only has images.
The video can be shared with friends and family via a link or via embedding on a website or blog.
In order to create your own YouTube comic, you need to register by creating a new account, then you can search for the video you want to edit.
You can customize the color, background color, transparency, font size, and position of the comic.
Clearly nothing indispensable but on the occasion you can keep in mind the existence of TubePopper to embellish or make an online video different.
