1) Truecaller
Truecaller is an application that today must not be missing in any mobile phone, because it is the one that blocks or filters the increasingly frequent and annoying calls from call centers and telemarketing companies.
Truecaller identifies the number of the caller and indicates in the case of a call from a number that has been reported as a nuisance.
When the phone starts ringing, the application is also able to display the caller's name (even if we have not stored it in the phone book) if its number has been registered in Truecaller.
The numbers of disturbing callers will be highlighted in red, if a good number of people have reported them.
2) Voice assistant
On both Android and iPhone there is a voice assistant that becomes particularly useful in the car or on other occasions, such as when you are still in bed after waking up to start the day.
The Google assistant for Android can be configured in the settings of the Google app and ask that it always answer every time it is called via the OK Google command.
In another article, the guide to activate OK Google which can also work only while using Google Maps or Android Auto.
The iPhone voice assistant, on the other hand, is called Siri and is activated from the iPhone settings.
Siri can also be activated with the Hey Siri voice command which can be configured to work when the phone is charging.
For example, therefore, you can ask Siri to read us the messages received or the emails after the alarm went off, when we are in bed, without having to open our eyes.

3) Waze
Waze is the app to use in the car to get to every place first when there is traffic, to save time.
While on iPhone and Android there are the Google Maps and Apple Maps apps that work as satellite navigators, Waze is the app to use during rush hour, to search for the best roads based on the traffic detected at that exact moment.
Thanks to its social function, Waze is the number one app on the roads.
4) Moovit
Those who travel by public transport cannot really use Moovit which makes life easier, less stressful and tiring, telling us exactly when the bus arrives, when we have to go to the stop and how long it takes us to get where we need to go.
This is the app that I always recommend to use when someone tells me that they have waited hours for the bus to arrive, because they could have known it earlier and saved themselves from all the irritation.
5) Google Keep
Keep is a great application to write down things to remember, codes, photos, signs, notices, passwords, phone numbers, appointments, deadlines and everything.
The beauty of Keep is that the data synchronizes in the cloud and is therefore recoverable even if you change your phone or if you open Keep on your PC or another phone.
6) Pushbullet
This is a really convenient application for those who work on the computer and want to receive phone notifications on the PC and to transfer files and photos between a PC and a phone.
Although it works better on Android, Pushbullet is an app that simplifies life even for iPhone users if they use a PC and not a Mac.
7) Google Photos
This application is the solution to the problem of photos when you break, change or lose your mobile phone because it is able to save all the photos taken without limit in an online backup, forever.
Using Google Photos, therefore, it is not necessary to remember to transfer photos to a computer, but just activate automatic backup to review the same photos from any device, be it iPhone, iPad, Android tablet, Mac or Windows PC.
In addition, this app has very powerful editing tools and special functions such as recognizing things in images to search for photos using keywords and also to search for specific people by name.
8) App to pay
The payment applications allow you to use your phone as if it were an ATM, placing it on the POS of the shop.
At the moment the only mobile payment system that can be used in Italy is Apple Pay which requires you to register your ATM on the iPhone, in complete safety, and which is supported by several supermarket and shopping center chains.
Although different, the Paypal app is also very powerful, perfect for exchanging money with friends, even a few Euros, for example when you need to share the expense of a gift or a dinner.
9) Apps to find a rental car (car sharing) or a ride (car pooling)
When you have to move, if you don't want to use public transport or you want to get there faster, you can rent a car using one of those car sharing services, so book the car closest to our location, you can drive to your destination and park it, leaving it to someone else, paying the rental based on the kilometers traveled.
The car sharing applications are different depending also on the city where you live.
Among the most popular ones are Car2Go and Eni Enjoy.
Different, however, is the concept of Car Pooling, where someone is asked to pay for it.
The most famous in Italy is BlaBlacar, a must try and very simple indeed.
10) Qurami (iPhone and Android)
This application deserves to be mentioned among the 10 apps to make our life easier because it allows you to skip the queues.
In practice, in many places where you have to take the number and wait for your turn (such as the town hall or the hospital), you can book your turn from the application and present yourself when the time is right, without queuing up.
In this regard, I remember that the Post Office app allows you to book your shift and not to queue at the post office.
