Tests and quizzes to discover one's personality have always been sought and appreciated by people, always looking for themselves. Every self-respecting magazine has its own personality test but today tests and quizzes to discover each hidden side of a person can be found on Facebook, although often, these seem to have more marketing purposes than anything else.
Not only when you go to a psychologist session but also when you have to take a job interview with many candidates, one of the first steps is the administration of a psycho-attidinal test, developed by psychology scholars who are able to summarize a person's character with a few words.
Since anyone likes to know how others see us and likes to have an introspection tool to understand themselves, know where to improve and where they excel, I had fun looking for the most famous aptitude tests used in the world at an international level, to see if it was possible to get them online and get results immediately, for free .
Given that many of these tests require the interpretation of someone who has studied how they work, there are free resources to fill out the quizzes online and get immediate psycho-attitudinal results.
The only problem is that if you don't want to settle for partial extracts or incomplete texts, most of these tests are in English.
This can certainly slow down the compilation of these tests which, sometimes, are to be done in a set time, however, with the help of an automatic translator, you can succeed.
Note : I am not a psychologist so I describe the tests with a lot of synthesis and I refer to Wikipedia for more details.
1) First of all, I want to report the personality test of the Altamira site, a company specialized in Human Resources for companies.
We have to answer 68 questions in Italian that define your psychological profile.
There are no right or wrong answers, only preferences that depend on your personality.
The test evaluates 6 parameters: Extroversion, Introversion, Thinking, Feeling, Intuition, Sensation, Judgment and Perception and their combination allows to draw up 16 different psychological profiles .
At the end of the test you get a detailed very pertinent and understandable discursive report.
2) The Big Five Test (BFQ) divides the person's personality into five independent and unrelated elements, every other characteristic of the personality will have some correlation with one or more of these five fundamental characteristics.
These 5 elements are: Extroversion (social or reserved), emotional stability (moody or calm), order (organized or disordered), relationships (welcoming or self-centered), curiosity.
In the Italian version which unfortunately I have not found for free in a complete version but only for a fee, the 5 elements are Energy, Friendliness, Conscientiousness, Emotional stability, Open-mindedness.
These elements represent the primary colors of the personality.
3) Enneagram test or eneagram test is a system of nine personality factors: order, availability, focus of the image, hypersensitivity, detachment, caution, the spirit of adventure, strength and tranquility.
This test, in addition to the similarMinds website, can also be done in Italian on the Nienteansia.it website.
This portal is one of the best and most serious, in Italian, where you can discover yourself for free with many different types of tests.
For example there are: tests for self-esteem, empathy, sincerity, self-control, touchiness, maturity, laziness / industriousness, stress, internet addiction (I don't even do that), hyperactivity, eating disorders, hypochondria, addiction from smoking, dangerous driving, intelligence test, memory test on figures, numbers, photographic, visual memory, speed of reading and writing and then with many more fun and less serious tests like the one to see if you are a hacker or if you are winners or losers.
4) MBTI Test (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) is the precursor of the Big Five and, in its recent version called Jung Type Indicator (JTI), it is the most widely administered test in the world, with approximately 2 million tests carried out every year during job interviews .
According to the MBTI, all people are classified according to four criteria: Extroversion / Introversion, Thinking / Trying, Intuition / Sensitivity, Judging / Perceiving.
This psycho- aptitude test can be done, in full version, in English on the SimilarMinds website and in partial version in Italian with 46 questions (which should be sufficient) on this page.

5) 16Personalities is a personality test in Italian and in other languages recognized as one of the most precise to frame a person.
Resumes the test of Myers and Bryggs and combines the most important aspects of personality: Mind, Energy, Nature, Tactics and Identity.
In the end you are placed in one of the test profiles, which are divided into 4 categories: analysts, diplomats, sentries, explorers.
6) The Keirsey Temperament Sorter (KTS) is closely related to the MBTI, and is very nice because it allows you to see which work is best suited to your personality.
The results should lead to discovering whether one's nature is artisan, controlling, idealistic or rational.
KTS is an important test of psycho-aptitude assessment, adopted by 40 million people between universities and companies around the world.
On the official website, a free registration is required to take the KTS-test II.

7) The color quiz is more fun and lighter and it's just about choosing the colors you prefer.
In the results, you get an assessment of your current situation, sources of stress, brakes, goals and problems.

9) My Personality Test is another online personality test with more than 50 questions in which to decide whether to agree or disagree.
At the end of the test you get a result and a description of the meaning.
