In Hazard Ops you must first create your own character with a very advanced editor where you can choose the face, skin, hair and clothes. Before you can enter the game, Hazard Ops requires you to play a short tutorial to learn the controls. You move using the WASD keys on the keyboard, moving the view with the mouse and using the mouse keys you shoot, use explosives and cover yourself by dodging the opponent's shots. The game control system is simple enough to learn.
The space bar is the most important button because it allows you to interact with the environment, to run, take shelter and jump out.
As in many modern multiplayer games, you will spend a lot of time in the waiting room where you will find games and missions to participate in, check your progress and prepare the combat equipment. The games can be PvE (computer control) missions where you can destroy zombies, robots and monsters or PvP, with groups of players against other players, all online. Fortunately, PvP is very fast, players die easily and you can rejoin the game within five seconds. Games against the computer have a variable, normal, advanced, expert and nightmare difficulty system. Matches with high difficulty coefficient require intense cooperation between players to attack together, and distribute ammunition and power-ups evenly. As in any free-to-play game, there is an arms and object shop where you can spend the money you earn or the real money to get stronger.
As you can see from the trailer below, the graphics are of the highest level and the action also moves fast making Hazard Ops an extremely adrenaline-pumping game. The gameplay is quite classic, perhaps not very original, but still still fun unless you feel addicted to this type of game. Although the collaborative game mode (with people from all over the world) is always complicated in this genre of games, the fights are very demanding and stimulating and above all beautiful as violent as you want from a shooter game.
