PUBG, free for Android and iPhone, is a beautiful multiplayer shooter

One of the most played games in the world and also the most popular Steam game this year is Player Unknown's Battleground, also known as PUBG .
It is a third-person shooter of the " Battle Royale " genre, which is a combat mode made famous by the Hunger Games movie.
In a Battle Royale everyone is fought against everyone inside an island, or in any case a limited area, until only one winner remains, the one who remains alive.
In PUBG you play online against 99 other players in a heart- pounding survival scenario, where you will have to collect weapons and objects before the others, explore the map, search for a safe area and kill the opponents you meet, trying not to be surprised behind you .
It is a highly competitive game, which can be played in three modes: alone, in pairs or in a team of 4 people.
While PUBG for PC is paid (you can buy it on Steam), the free version of the Player Unknown's Battleground game for Android and for iPhone has just been released, which can be played for free on smartphones.
PUBG Mobile is free for Android and iPhone and is a really powerful and fun full game, which has nothing less than the PC version, if not the fact of having to get used to the touchscreen controls on the screen, a bit complex for the obvious lack of a mouse and keyboard.
To begin with, you can choose to connect a Facebook account or if you want to play with a guest account, which is fine to start with.
You can then choose whether to be a man or a woman and you can customize our character by choosing the face he must have.
Below the Start button that starts the game, you can touch to choose the game mode, whether alone, in pairs or in teams.
The home screen also allows you to view missions, events, general rank, inventory and then also the community chat.
Touching the gear button at the top right you enter the settings, really rich to decide and customize the controls, the graphics, the way to drive vehicles, the sensitivity, the audio and the language (English only for now).
At the first games you enter the arena without clothes, in underwear.
The clothes will be obtained during the game and can also be purchased with the virtual currency earned or bought for real money.
You can then immediately enter the game waiting for there to be 100 players ready (usually in 30 seconds you start), ready to jump with a parachute from a helicopter, on the island that acts as a scenario for the fight.
You then immediately enter the heart of the battle ready to search and collect weapons, with the aim of surviving as much as possible.
Compared to the PC and XBox version, in the first games there are bots controlled by the computer (so among the 100 players not all of them are real) that allow you to help new players because they are very weak and easy to beat.
As you level up and win a few games, the bots become less and less and a little stronger.
The game controls are fully optimized and work great on the phone's touchscreen.
It is played with two hands, with the finger of one hand you move, with the other hand you move the view.
On the left there is the virtual cloche to move while on the right the keys to shoot, to lower, to jump and to take cover.
There are also the button to open the backpack and use inventory items and then the viewfinder button, to enter first-person view and shoot more precisely.
To run, you can move your finger upwards on the screen and hold.
The controls can however be changed in the game settings.
Who has never played PUBG on PC or its great competitor Fortnite, can find the genre Battle Royale really chaotic at the beginning, with absolute freedom of movement and the possibility of dying in an instant, if you are not careful and if you are distracted .
PUBG's performance depends a lot on the graphics settings, but it is also excellent on a mid-level smartphone with 4GB of RAM (like the Honor 9).
Who has a Samsung Galaxy S8 or S9 can play with the best settings and enjoy maximum performance.
Using low settings the PUBG game should be playable on practically any Android phone.
This game on Android and iPhone is really beautiful and should appeal to everyone, perhaps a little challenging for casual players, with games that last about half an hour, fun and tense, highly competitive, very addictive and not at all boring.
It is played online and multiplayer against players from all over the world with whom it is possible to communicate via chat or even by voice.
Finally, I remember that while PUBG is free for Android and iPhone, you can play for free on PC the battle royale of Fortnite, which is very similar and equally addictive.
