Send self-destructing messages or emails (also Gmail)

Even with Gmail it is possible to send messages that self-destruct, as happens with applications similar to Snapchat.
It seems a bit like talking about the messages that the CIA spies send in James Bond films where any evidence of involvement in shady affairs must disappear and " the message will be destroyed by ... ".
If in another article there was talk of sending large attachments via email, I cannot give a specific purpose to this post; these services can be used just to make jokes or to create problems for someone ... criminals and experienced investigators may perhaps be more interested ... however we say that they integrate with anonymous mailboxes that disappear in 24 hours that we have already talked about ( that instead they have a purpose and how!).

First of all, the native function to send self-destructing emails with Gmail was implemented in 2018 by Google and is explained in the guide to send protected emails in Gmail with expiration and password .
Below, however, other solutions with external services.
1) Privnote is a free web service for sending secret notes over the internet.
It requires no password or user registration and you just need to write the note to get a link. You copy and paste the link in an email or message, send it to the person who has to read it and when he opens it the first time, the link is deleted and the message disappears forever. Optionally, you can choose to be notified when the note is read with a read receipt. After 30 days, all unread notes are automatically deleted.
2) Cloakmy allows you to send self-destructing text messages after clicking and reading them once. Alternatively, a start date and a destruction date can be set. The message can also be password protected.
3) Saltify.io allows you to send secret and encrypted messages by deciding how long they should self-destruct. Reading messages can also be password protected.
4) DUE.IM is another message self-destruction service. If the message is not displayed within 24 hours, it is deleted from the system.
5) Burn Note allows you to write a message that can be shared via a link on the internet. However, this link can be opened only once, therefore, after it is read the first time and after 3 minutes, it disappears and destroys itself.
You can also always reply to the message with the same self-elimination rule. Just type in the message, decide the time period from the deadline and send. The recipient will receive an email with a link to the message and, after reading it, it will destroy itself at the decided moment. You can also decide the number of times the message can be opened.
6) Self Destructing Message is another web service with which to send self-destructing messages without leaving a trace in a specified period of time and which cannot be read later. Self-destructing messages can be sent via a link to be shared or directly through email. You just have to establish the duration period before the fateful deadline, from 15 seconds to 5 minutes, and type the text. The countdown starts when the link is accessed for the first time.
7) The VautletMail service is one of the services indicated in the article on how to send password-protected messages, even on expiry.
8) Noteshred is a site to send messages that are automatically canceled after the first reading.
9) With Firefox Send you can send a file that disappears after the download or 24 hours.
