If on Facebook we had to start seeing friends transformed into particular comics and cartoons, the fault will be an app that is really depopulating in the USA that, probably, will soon be fashionable in Italy too. The app is called BitStrips and allows everyone, even the worst artists, to create small comics made by creating avatars, cartoons and digital cartoons where the protagonists are us and our friends.
The cartoons will populate the Facebook news home and will be as much fun as annoying, at least for those who hate having to continually refuse invitations to use the application.
UPDATE: BitStrips no longer exists and has been replaced with Bitmoji to create personalized emojis (Emoticons) from photos .

To start with Bitstrips you must first connect the Snapchat account via the free app available for Android smartphones and for iPhone .
At this point you can create the avatar through a very detailed process that also allows you to include your real photos to make the design look as much as possible to ourselves.
You can certainly also create a completely new and original character if you want, since the creation possibilities are really wide and varied.
You can change the various facial features, hair color, hair length, haircut, eye shape, eye color, face expression, face lines, choose the body type of the avatar, clothing style, makeup, height, shape and any accessories such as glasses or hat.
The creation process can last a few minutes or even many hours, depending on the amount of details that you want to refine, which of course you can change when you want.
Once we have chosen and drawn the main character of ourselves, we can start creating the first comic / meme by choosing one of the tabs in the menu above.
The " Comic Status " tab allows you to write your status on Facebook through a comic where only our avatar appears while " Friend Comics " allows you to add another friend to the comic who is using Bitstrips and has already used the application.
The friend who is included in our comic can then add a new scene if he wants, by starting a chain with blows and answers, all through comics.
Each cartoon can be set in a different scenario through the choice of backgrounds, very large and customizable.
After selecting the scene, then, you put the avatars on the scene and add the comics where you can write the words creating a nice scene to share on Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr.
BitStrips is having success both because everyone likes to create their own designed avatar, and because it is fun to recreate a real scene or express their mood through a meme-comic.
Apparently Bitstrips are used in the USA to become a problem for those who do not use it.
Those who hate BitStrips can make comic drawings disappear from the Facebook timeline in a very simple way: from the displayed sticker, press the up arrow next to it and hide the BitStrips app.
