Create the geographical map of Facebook photos with personal places

In the Facebook diary, one of the main sections is the Map, which is located in the favorites section (if it does not appear, click the down arrow in the favorites box under the Activity log button).
The Facebook map is provided by Bing Maps (not by Google) and serves, not so much to search for places or streets, but to indicate the places where you have been, on vacation, for work and during each trip . In addition to this, you can associate each photo of your Facebook album with the places where they were taken and thus create your own geographic album.
Since the Facebook map is connected to Facebook Places, it can be said not only that you have been in a city but also in clubs, restaurants or particular streets.
Any information posted on the map is published in the diary and remains visible to friends according to the level of privacy chosen.
On the Facebook Map, just start searching for any place to tell if it is a place where you lived, if it was a trip or if it is the place where there was an important event. For each place, you can publish a new photo or associate one of the images already present in your Facebook albums.
Much more fun, however, is simply adding photos on the map, without specifying other information, just to create your own geographical map made of images. To associate a photo with a place on the map, just click the button at the top right " Add photo to the map ". After selecting the photo, you can specify where you were at that moment and then choose a more specific city or place according to the list of suggestions displayed automatically. The application allows you to quickly associate each single photo to a place, with a quick click, scrolling the images with the mouse wheel.
Once you are done adding places to your various personal photos, you can click on " Add Completed " to return to the normal view of the map which highlights the places tagged with a placeholder. Clicking the placeholder opens the thumbnail of the images associated with that place. From the buttons below you can quickly see all the points selected with a click.
You can also add the position of each photo during their normal viewing by clicking on the small wheel at the top right (above the name of the person who uploaded the photo), and choosing the " Add position " option. After adding different places to the various images, they can be displayed on the map as explained above.
Adding photos to the Facebook map is a great way to track your travels, to remember where you were at a particular time and to organize scattered photos according to the place where they were taken. Note that if geographic data has been added to the images through other programs, they are automatically localized by Facebook when they are uploaded online.
