Purchase control in apps and apps on Google, Apple and Windows stores

One of the main problems of smartphones and tablets is the ease of being able to buy applications and other content.
If you use your mobile phone with the credit card registered on the store (Google Play or Apple Store), if you do not put protection, it is very easy to make unwanted purchases even outside the various stores, even simply while playing or while using any application.
Above all, those who let children play with their phone, tablet or iPad, but also those who do not want to take unnecessary risks, it is important that they take all precautions to avoid unwanted purchases and unnecessary expenses with apps.
Depending on the phone, tablet and PC you are using, let's see how to set restrictions and controls to prevent unauthorized or accidental purchases on the Google Play, Apple Store and Windows stores .

1) The Apple Store of iPhone and iPad allows you to prevent purchases of applications if you do not have authorization.
Parental controls also allow you to block in-app purchases so that both we and our kids can be free to play without risking spending money on hitting the wrong button.
To activate this control, tap on Settings> General, go to Restrictions and enable restrictions.
You will be asked to indicate a PIN that must be entered every time you want to make a purchase from an application.
From the list of restrictions, activate the switch to block purchases in the app.
You can also set restrictions for music, movies and purchase of apps from the app store.
Finally, go to Settings> General> Restrictions and set the Request Password option to Immediately, avoiding the possibility that purchases can be made without a password, within 15 minutes of its insertion.
As for purchases of applications for iPhone and iPad or other content made on the Apple Store, it is also possible to set a control on the iTunes program.
From iTunes on Windows and Mac, in the preferences, you can activate the restrictions on purchases.
2) To prevent purchases on the Google Play Store from an Android smartphone such as the Samsung Galaxy, you can choose between two types of controls
Open the Google Play application, touch the menu button at the top left, select Settings and then activate the option to request authentication for purchases.
You can then choose to request the Google Account password for each purchase, or every 30 minutes.
In addition or alternatively, parental controls can also be activated in the store settings.
In this case, you are asked to create a PIN that will be requested every time you try to download prohibited content.
In this case it is not a block on purchases, but a block on age, to prevent children from installing, for example, violent games.

3) To prevent purchases of apps on a Windows 10 PC, tablet or smartphone, you don't need to do anything because, by default, the store always requires the Microsoft account password to confirm purchases.
The option is found by opening the Microsoft store, pressing on the image of our profile at the top right and then going to the settings.
