Keep Copy and Paste data on Windows forever with Save.me

Copy and paste on Windows works like this: you select a word, copy it by pressing Control-C and Windows stores that word in a hidden area called Clipboard or Clipboard, then opens a text sheet on Word or on a field in the browser and paste it as many times as you want with Control-V .
However, when you copy something else, the previous one is overwritten and disappears.
It is not known why, perhaps to avoid complications, the fact is that the copy and paste really has a short memory.
For this, those who work a lot with these operations, can install one of those programs to view and manage the notes of the copy, cut and paste in order to keep them in memory.
The Save.me program, a great novelty in the Windows landscape, takes copy and paste management to another level, creating a history of the notes that are kept over time .
UPDATE: In Windows 10, from October 2018, it is possible to activate the clipboard history option to keep the copy and paste data.
Save.me can be downloaded from the official website in the 32bit or 64bit version and is free.
Save.me interacts with the Windows clipboard by sorting all copied data, text, photos, files, images, to keep them forever and it works perfectly.
The application, very light, can be started immediately without doing installation and remains in the background recording the notes when doing the "copy" on a text.
By clicking on the Save.me icon located next to the clock, you can open the main screen, where you can manage the options and view the copied notes.
From that moment, every time you click the right mouse button to copy a word, a link or an image, Save.me saves the data permanently indicating the time and place where it comes from.
At any time you can open the main interface to see the last thing copied and the general list of notes.
By pressing the Logbook button you can see a calendar where you will find the history of all the things copied day by day .
Save.me is different from other clipboard managers on Windows because the copied notes can not only be reused even after a year, but can be previewed and modified .
On the left side you can also click on the Save image button which allows you to save a section of the desktop to the clipboard by drawing it with the mouse on the screen.
If you take screenshots by pressing the Stamp button, they are immediately saved in a dedicated folder under download / data .
Each element has a caption indicating where it comes from, which program and the exact date.
It is also possible to mark an item as favorite or protected, to facilitate access to sensitive data that you do not want to be deleted.
By right clicking on the Save.me icon, you can enter the options to customize the program.
In the Application tab, you can decide whether to start Save.me when the computer is turned on and you can define key combinations (hotkeys) to quickly recall the copied notes.
The fastest way to manage copy and paste is by activating the sidebar (press the right button on the Save.me icon) which brings up a small icon designed as a notepad on the right side of the screen.
Moving the mouse over that icon opens a box that shows the latest copied data for quick use.
And of course, this application would not be complete without a function to search for all the data saved with Copy and Paste, which is located in the main interface at the bottom right.
Save.me is a little gem that I recommend installing to everyone to work better and faster on Windows.
